Most of the secrets I need to keep relate to gifts I’ve gotten someone. These rules apply to other situations, though.The number one best way to keep a secret is to never tell anyone. As soon as your tell someone else you no longer have control over whether or not the secret is kept. They might not even mean to let it out. They may just be bad at keeping secrets.If there is evidence of the secret, destroy it if possible. Can you keep a secret when you are drunk?
I don't drink much, which is why I'm asking this on yahoo. But recently My one friend found out that his girlfriend cheated on him. I was surprised it took this long for it too come out, because she is a heavy drinker. She's not an alchoholic or anything but we refer to her as a "party girl". How was she able to keep back from telling everyone about this when she was hammered? Or do you still have some control over what you say?

How can I keep a secret pet hamster?
Although this might not be the best idea, first I would try to ask your parents and reason with them first, and tell them that you ARE responsible enough. This way they know you consider buying a hamster. If you are SURE that you want to keep it secret, keep it in your room, but not in your closet, he might not like it. Then, make sure you always spray your room with Fabreeze and that stuff to cover up the hamster smell. Then keep your room clean to prove to your parents that you ARE responsible. Perhaps one day, if you want to tell your parents, you can leave the hamster (in its cage) on your (super clean) desk in your (super clean) room, and send them a text to check your room on your desk. Then, leave them a note there, that explains that you do LOVE your hamster, and that you have been taking care of him for awhile. But please, think about whether you REALLY want this hamster, and that if you buy him, there is no really easy way to get rid of him, and the consequences from your parents might not be worth it if/when they find out. How do I learn to keep secrets about myself?
Wait... I denied A2A, then I realized I have few tricks! But they are working just half way :-/-Write things on a paper (diary) - that works if you have the urgent need to release things out or if you need someone else's POV. Spit yourself on the paper, then read it after few days/hours/months and give yourself new POV! It is much better to watch yourself changing. Also when you write things down, it naturally forces you to structure it, sort it out, stimulate your thinking. -Chat with animals!-Chat with strangers on internet, with a nickname!-Try to control the time you are speaking. Maybe you are too talkative, and the secrets just go in the flow. Track your time, for example never talk longer than two/five/ten minutes. If you see you are crossing it, stop it and think why are you talking about the certain topic to the certain person. Ask the person if it is even interesting for him/her. Re-evaluate your own behaviour.-Think in advance about it and decide what really are the secrets you don't want anyone else to know. Make a list of them inside your mind. You will remember then, not to tell them, even when drunk or any else.
