Start off but getting the mintiest tooth paste you can buy and brush your teeth like a maniac. Before your date even invest in some Crest whitening strips. You have no idea how often girls talk about guys' yellow teeth. Nasty, and a serious turn off.
Next, breath mints. Have them on you 24/7! Ok next lips. Yes, your lips need to be soft, not cracked and peeling or dry. Buy Chapstick, the good kind, Burt's bees should do it, but don't get the plain one, my bf used to buy that one, and it didn't taste all too good, so I made him switch to the honey one :)
Ok scrub your lips before the date with a simple scrub of sugar and warm water.
Then now for the kissing part!
A girl will give you tell tell signs that they want to be kissed. Then again I was so nervous when I was 14, so she might be skittish.
The best time to make your move is at the end of the date.
I know you don't believe people when they tell you, "It's really easy!"
But it IS.
The first kiss is a walk in the park, because your not even doing anything.
All you do is LEAN in, always tilt your head to the right, because 99% of the time that's the direction people turn their heads to kiss.
Keep your lips closed when you kiss her.
Make sure your standing close, the whole butt sticking out is not intimate. You have to get her in the mood. So, make sure you playfully touch her hand or wrap your arm around her shoulder when your walking, it will make both of you a lot more comfortable.
So, where was I....ok. You lean in, tilt your head to the right. Get close enough, you are looking into her eyes, then look at her lips, coordinate and close your eyes and press your lips gently to hers. I mean just the way you would if you were to kiss someones hand. Soft and simple. Not too long. And if you want you can place your hand behind her head to steady your self or her.

How do I kiss this girl on the lips?

Time and place are important. For instance, the worst time to try to kiss her is when she's busy kissing someone else. 8^) Seriously, you want to wait until the two of you are alone, and are feeling close--like walking and holding hands, or talking, or when you drop her off on her doorstep.

Now you can just zoom in for a quick peck, that's perfectly okay. It has the element of surprise, which, if she wants to be kissed, will give her a little thrill. In that case you don't use your arms at all, or perhaps just hold her shoulders for a second to hold her still.

Or you can do a more formal kiss with a hug. In which case you hold her around the waist, or put your hands on her hips. The 'classic' pose is the man is taller so he puts his arms around her waist and she responds by putting her arms around his neck. (It's the same with a grownup kissing a child! For the same reason, having to do with size. Whole different kind of kiss though.)

Sitting down, you just put your arms around each other however seems comfortable. If she's several inches shorter, she can sit on your lap!

No matter how much experience you have in kissing, no matter how many girls you've kissed, the first few kisses with a new girl are always a little tentative, a little uncertain. You don't know what to expect, you don't know what the other person wants, so you go for a very generic sort of kiss--not too short or too long, not too wet or too dry, not too hard or too soft. But the more you kiss each other, the more you learn how to delight each other, which of course is what you want.

Also I'm convinced that women are much better at kissing than men. I think it's more important to them, they care more about it. I am 17 and every time I go to a party with my friends it always seams like all my friends make out with girls, even girls they just met. I really got serious about this when I went to a girl I like's birthday party the other day. The only guys there were me and 4 others, in the middle of the party I saw that all of the guys were making out with girls except for me. At the moment I felt left out and pathetic, mostly because I always here how my friends make out with girls at every party and I never have. Getting back to the party, I really like the girl who made it and I felt us clicking all night and I thought if I could bring my self up to it but I just can't figure out how, so can someone please help me out.

OMG this reminded me of when I had crushes in high school and always wanted the guy to hug me!! >_< I got butterflies!
Anyway I don't think you need to be 'going out' to kiss her, because usually once you do kiss... then your kinda together. Unless she's one of 'those' kinda girls. But yea I think the best way to hold her hand is to take it and pretend like your measuring who have longer fingers or something silly- like tease her that she has man hands or something. Then just don't let go of it (and of course tell her you were jk, and you like her hands) :P~~~
Also for kissing... Anytime is fine but the less people around the better, esp since friends will laugh and yell. Make sure she is smiling and move in slowly! PLZ don't be like my ex's and move fast and shove your tongue in there :[ that's the worst 1st kiss to give!
