Try looking up your account on http://profiles.yahoo.com/ Just click on View My Profiles at the top of the page and then click on the profile of your user ID. If how long you have been a member is not displayed underneath your user photo, click on Edit Profile Information, scroll down to the bottom of that page, check the last box and click save. Now it will show your profile again with your registration date listed underneath your custom photo.

It is possible, just takes one extra step compared to deleting a Tumblr blog not tied to a Yahoo account. I don’t know if there is an easier way (not that one extra step is overkill), but I found this works.First, you have to reset your Tumblr, not Yahoo, password. If you don’t do this, Tumblr won’t accept any password you type in when you go to delete your account. The only way I found to work was to go to Forgot password | Tumblr(edit: Tested if you could do this more easily if you did it through your Tumblr account settings, but trying to change your password through there only takes you to your Yahoo settings and thus doesn’t change your Tumblr password, which is what we’re after.)After you’ve reset your password, you can just go to your settings, choose your primary blog and then delete your account. Is a round-about way of doing it, but you can try this .... ~ go to www.yahoo.com's home page and sign in (upper right) ~ along the left side are the various yahoo services. Click on the yellow bar under the list and it will have a box slide open where you can select Account ~ you will probably have to type in your password again ~ the next page is your account information page ~ along the right side, is a list of your ID and any alias's you have. Click on the create/edit profiles link ~ on the next page, click on your main ID link ~ if the profile page does not show when you became a member under where you would put a pic (if not there), then there is another step you have to do. ~across the top are 5 links. Select Edit Profile Information ~ down at the bottom are Display Options. Put a checkmark in the box beside "Member Since", click 'save changes' in the lower right corner, and it will put when you joined onto your profile. You might have to refresh your profile if it doesn't show up right away, but it should. That will give you the date you created your yahoo ID.
