What is a Tumblr URL?
Like other people who have answered have said, it’s basically the username, or the name of your blog/s. All of your different blogs (usually referred to as one main blog (or just main for short) and side blogs, which you can have as many as you want) have different URLs. You can even choose to use your own URL, like how Straight White Boys Texting has.(Thank you!)

I am on Instagram as well as Tumblr. How do I put my Tumblr account username or link in my profile on Instagram so people can open my Tumblr profile?
Go to your Instagram profile, click the 3 dots in the upper right, click “Edit Profile” and add your blog’s Tumblr URL in the third box. The first is your name, the second is your Instagram username and the third is the URL that will show on your profile.Hope this helped!

Do you prefer short domain names or or meaningful domain names?
Generally, I prefer short name domains for the following reasons,(1) Can be “brandable” (think Yahoo, Google, Tumblr etc).(2) Are easier to read, since they’re so short.(3) Easier to remember.(4) When it comes to any printed material, (like business cards or brochures) they take up less room, they are easier to include on printed material!(5) Great for limited characters social media sites like Twitter. The less characters in the Url, the more room for other information.
