How Do I Look Of I Will Pierce My Ears

Will my ear get infected if i pierce it myself?

i want to pierce my own ear, i've already had them done once but that was professionally. i'm not allowed a second piercing so i thought i'd just keep my hair down for a bit and tell my mum later. Is it dangerous to do it yourself? like can someone rank how dangerous it is out of 10? 10 being very dangerous. And is it very likely you will get an infection even if you sterilize equipment

Pierce My Cat's ears?

Quite simply no.
Your cat has no choice in the matter. I have one standing rule I never pierce anyone who can't make the decision or voice their opinion.

In addition to this, anti-cruelty organization would take issue with it. Claire's would most definitely get shut down or fined at the least.

Ask yourself this, if you couldn't voice your opinion on something like that, would you want someone making that decision for you.

If you pierce your right ear, are you gay?

This varies depending on the rest of your person; your attitude, style of dress, body language, speech mannerisms, and so on.Generally, straight men pierce only their earlobes, and sometimes their cartilage, depending. Exceptions are made for people who have many body modifications. For example, someone covered in tattoos from head to toe could have several piercings on their ears, and that wouldn’t affect how people perceive them in terms of sexuality. Piercings like gauges are worn by straights all the time. The one thing many people stress over is, “Which side is the ‘gay side’?” Lots of people say this is silly, but I actually disagree. If you have your piercing on the “gay side” or the “straight side”, that might factor into whether or not I try to hit on you and get your number.I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It has a thriving LGBT+ community and culture, and here, the “gay side” is definitely a real thing. If a man has his left ear pierced, as a homosexual man myself, I’m much more likely to flirt with him than if it’s his right ear. (The exception to this, and I kid you not, is Korean and Japanese men. K-pop and J-pop throw the left ear theory straight out the window.)The position and opinion of the “gay side” varies geographically. Your best bet is to get both pierced through the lobe, if you want to avoid being presumed to be a homosexual. If you’re absolutely hell-bent on having only one ear pierced, ask your piercer when you go to the tattoo parlor to get it done. Mention this specifically, and if they’re an experienced piercer, they should be able to settle the issue for you instantly.

Would I look good if I had my ears pierced? (I'm a guy)?

Well my opinion is that no guy should pierce their ears. Period.
But you know, some girls digg that.

If you piercing or re piercing your ears, why do you have to have an apple, lemon, or potato slice behind it?

If you're doing it yourself (which I'm not encouraging you to do, there might be complications because of the not-so-sterile enviroment you're doing it in) the fruit slice is there so the needle will get stuck in it and not go any further and hit your fingers. An orange slice is okay, but maybe a piece of cork would work out better. If you're piercing your ears yourself, make sure you clean everything you use. If you can, use a sterile needle. Don't touch anything else than the clean equipment until you're finished with the piercing.

How many ear lobe piercings can I get?

As others stated, it will depend upon the size and shape of your lobes. A reputable piercer will be able to advise you on the basic limit of the jewelry you can put there. Using the lighter earrings will help prevent the pulling that will (or could) tear out and create trouble. The whole idea is to be realistic about wearing many bits of jewelry without looking like a pin cushion. I have three lobe piercings on each side, plus a conch, tragus, and upper ear cartilage on the right. My left ear won’t let a cartilage piercing heal. Most likely due to that is my favorite side to sleep on. That could also be a consideration for you. Also, I’m not referring to just anyone as a ‘pin cushion’. I cannot rock the look, but I can and do enjoy those that can!

Should I get both my ears pierced or just one? What color stud would look good on me?

Thanks for the A2A!  Getting both ears done seems to be the most popular look for guys these days.  That's just an observation; I'd never just tell someone to follow a trend.  It sounds silly, but you can stick small stickers on your ears as earring placeholders to see what looks better to you.  They actually make stick-on earrings for little kids.  They probably sell them at Claire's.  If you want to buy them to try but feel awkward, just tell the checkout woman you're getting them for your hot girlfriend, Paige, and show them my picture.  I've got your back.Buuuut, if you're totally undecided and you want me to make the decision for you, then I say so both.  It's the logical choice!  When you get two done at once, you get a discount at most piercing shops (remember, readers, getting pierced by a prodessional piercer is way safer!).  You would end up paying more if you got just one and then decided you really want both ears done.  And if you decide you only want one earring after awhile?  No problem, just take it out.  To be fair, it's also my personal preference.  I love symmetry. As for colour, you're a lucky guy!  A lot of colours look good on dark-skinned dudes.  Silver looks amazing, and would be near the top of my rec list.  Diamond/cubic zirconium would also stand out really well against dark skin - I'd recommend a silver setting, obviously.  Actually, any gem colour would look amazing, particularly light or brightly coloured ones.  Black may not stand out as much, but it's a cool look, too.  Once you get your piercing(s), you'll want to buy several pairs of earrings, because you'll look and feel so damn cool.  You can try out colours like emerald or its fake equivalent then .  But silver and diamond/cubic zirconium are classics that will never die, and so are my top recommendations. They also will stand out brillantly against your skin, and it's likely the piercer has those options on hand.  Some piercers will start you out with surgical steel jewellery, which is the safest material.  It's not as bright as silver, but would also look good against dark skin, because it is lighter coloured.I'm super excited for you!  New piercings aren't in my budget right now (I need to find a piercer or tattoo artist to marry!), so I'm going to live vicariously through you.  Have fun!  And, maybe let me know how it goes?

How do I tell if ears are healed from ear piercing?

You should wait the full 4 weeks to change the jewelry but here’re some signs that it’s healed. No lymph coming out of the piercing. No soreness, even when changing jewelry. (If it’s sore after changing jewelry when you hit the 4 week mark, don’t change the jewelry again until week 6)The skin around the piercing is the same as the rest of the area (new piercings are usually reddish for awhile until healed)It’s naturally stretched a bit.You can lay on it with no issues.I’m dead serious don’t change the jewelry until week 4. It could grow in, be really painful to remove, slow down the healing process, and since it’s still a new piercing there’s a higher chance for infection (and infections are a bitch, even mild ones). If you’re still in doubt at the 4 week point just ask your piercer.
