How Do I Make A Better Body For Myself

How can I feel better about myself and my body image?

This answer will be more specified about body image issue because i’ve been dealing with this worries a lot of timeStop listening to people’s comments about your body. If you are fat there is always someone who make fun of you with their sarcastic jokes. It also happens if your are skinny, people will throw comments as well. Well sometimes it showed that they are care and concerned about you, but you are the one responsible for your body and know what works best.Stop comparing yourself with celebrity or supermodel who has a ‘body goal’. Motivations are good but if you always comparing, there will be no limit. Body goals are achieved with discipline and preseverance, if you want to have that without any effort then you always make yourself feel bad.Be grateful for what you have especially your health. Maintain your health by doing exercise, it is not only good for your physics but for your mind as well.Surround yourself with possitive people. I personally get tired of listening to people who complain about their body and their diet. I used to do that a lot but then i realized that it only showed that i need people approval overcome my insecurity, so i try to avoid complaining about myself as much as i can.

How did getting a better body through exercise & gym help you in other areas of life?

A lot of good answers here about discipline, consistency, hard work, etc… But, building my body taught me TWO major things that have helped me in EVERY single aspect of my life. Those two things are…Thing #1: How to SacrificeIf you want a truly exceptional physique or amazing levels of strength and athleticism, it takes major sacrifices.Think about it. If you want to build a better body you’ve got to sacrifice many things,TimeYour favorite foods (I miss you french fries)Your comfort (you’re going to sweat, bleed, and be in pain)Spending time with others (if you’re competing)Occasionally, you might have to choose the gym over the club, parties, etc…Money (gym memberships, clothes, supplements, etc…)Without consciously making sacrifices, you can’t continue to make progress at the gym. It’s just the nature of the beast.Probably most importantly for me, was sacrificing my favorite foods to get leaner. I have a MAJOR weakness for french fries. Passing McDonald’s is painful. But, I wanted to get lean, so the fries had to go.Life is no different. If you want to “upgrade” your life, nine times out of ten, it’s going to take some sacrifices.Learning how to sacrifice in the context of working out is going to aid your future success in a major way.Thing #2: How Long Success Truly TakesIf you train naturally (actually, even if you use steroids), it takes YEARS to build an impressive physique. One of the most common misconceptions that people have is that they will lift weights for a few months and will then look like a cover model (I thought this too). After training for multiple years and still not being what I would call “jacked,” I came to the realization that getting the physique I want is going to take a LONG FREAKIN TIME.And you know what? I learned to be fine with that.Later in life, when I started my website, I suffered through writing educational fitness posts every day for 12 months, while seeing no results for my hard work. But stopping never once entered my mind. Why? Because I knew what it felt like to work my ass off and not see the results I wanted. When I didn’t see the results I wanted in the gym, it was simply a matter of learning more about training and being persistent. My website was no different. I just had to readjust, and keep working. With that being said, the lesson the gym taught me about success is,It’s going to take as long as it takes. Shut up, keep your nose to the grind stone, and you’ll make it when you make it.

How can I stop comparing myself to others?

Realize that u were made you perfect and if god wanted to make u look like the other girls than he would. Everyone i beautiful in their own way and I am sure u are so noticed that u are pretty and nobody can change that!

What is the best body shape?

There are four main genetic body-types that you get from birth and can't do much about but you can blend from one to the other and be a king of half-ling:

In my personal opinion, the 'Mesomorphs' and 'Ectomorphs' look best

1- Mesomorph - fit-looking athletic or sporty built
2- Ectomorph - skinny, lanky-looking or small and slim
3- Endomorph - large frame and thick-set structure
4- Xenomorph - very tall with shiny skin and big eyes

Self harm: Which part of your body bleeds the most when cut?

When I cut myself, I like to see a lot of blood come out without necessarily going too deep. Which part of your body is the best place for cutting yourself and seeing lots of blood, without going painfully or dangerously deep?

I'm sneaking out tonight, how do I make my plan better? Please help FAST?

Well, this is the first time I'm sneaking out in years.
I have two brothers, and my parents work nights, so it's just us. But they're goodie goods and would probably "tell on me".
I have a one story house.
When they're asleep, I'm going to make a fake body on my bed, then leave out the front door. But I'll unlock my window, and back door.
I'm going to stay out for maybe an hour or two, and I'll still be in the neighborhood, actually, VERY close to my house. I'm going across the street, in a ditch.
I'm coming back in through the back, and if I get caught, I'll say my friend came over crying because her boyfriend dumped her and she needed to talk to me. And we went across the street because we didn't want to wake anybody up, and to please not tell dad.

Anything I can make better?
If I get locked out, I'll go in through my window.

Very Lanky Teenage Male Seeking to Gain Weight and Feel Better Overall?

I am a sixteen year old teenage male, who through my entire life, have been very skinny. As I become older, I see other people and friends who are in relatively good body shape and I wish to discontinue my extremely lanky nature, and build myself a better body, so to speak. I am 5 foot 10 inches, and weigh rougly around 125 pounds.
Things that have always bothered me are my skinny wrists - So skinny that i can have my thumb and pinky touch when I wrap them around the wrist. I wish to build mucle and everything, but just the fact of my forearm, the elbow and below towards the hand, being closer to a stick of bone than an arm, I have been discouraged to try and work out.
A few other things that has been a major deterents to any attempts at getting into better shape overall and defining myself muscularly are my terrible eating habits and low self-esteem/chronic depression. I would like to say I eat vegetables but that wouldn't really be true since I only eat potatoes and carrots (But I only eat carrots when they are cooked - never raw). I've been battling chronic depression that has its on and off periods which has stopped me from doing many things both socially and academically.
I know this probably seems astray from the title, but they all factor into the obstacles and what I am facing with, for this given issue. Please, any advice, concepts, stories of your self experiences of things related to my problem/condition are appreciated.
I wish to build myself a better body in the hope that if I become better physically, I will be able to rid myself of my depression without resulting to going to a psychiatrist, as I am not a person who asks for help - I tend to keep my problems to myself even if the end result is failure. [Posting this is the most I tend to do since I feel safer posting something online than talking about it face-to-face.]

Thank you for your time, and happy holidays.
