How Do I Make A Parody

Good Song To Make A Parody Of?!?

I have some ideas, but what would be a good a good NEW song to parody.

I've already done Call Me Maybe, and Boyfriend.

Some others I thought about were

One Direction= One Thing
One Direction= That's what makes you beautiful
The Wanted= Glad You Came
Justin Bieber= As long as you love me

Any other ideas?!?

Could I get sued for making a parody?

According to US Copyright Laws, parody's are protected. Technically I person suing you for using their work without permission would lose, as long as the Court agreed you actually created a parody, as defined by law. Anyone, however, can bring a lawsuit against you and it will cost money to defend even if it's likely they will lose. The good news is, big name movies and artists generally don't charge ahead willy billy, suing every parody producer. Their team of intellectual property lawyers advise them on the likelihood of success or failure of any proposed lawsuit. The bad news is, that same team of lawyers can bury the little-guy parody maker in cease and desist letters and other legal maneuvers up to and including an actual lawsuit. Even worse news, sometimes a little known artist or person that's parodied, will drag you into court at the drop of a hat because they don't even realize parodies are protected. Copyright laws also allow someone reviewing music in an article or paper to use snippets of actual lyrics without permission, as long as its part of a bona fide review/analysis. The laws are a little fuzzy on how much a snippet or few lines is, however, so someone could take you to court if they thought you used way too much of the lyrics and music without permission. Then the court has to decide on a case by case basis. Finally, just as an FYI because many people do this: it IS a violation of Copyright laws to use a line or two of lyrics in a book dedication, or even to start out or end each chapter of a book or story without getting permission. You are probably safe as long as what you create is clearly a parody and it doesn't go viral. The more exposure and monetary success, the more likely a disgruntled person will bring a lawsuit against you.

What song should I make a Parody of?

Hey guys, so I want to write parody’s for songs and make people laugh but the thing is I don’t listen to pop that much and I really don’t know what song to parody. Any ideas??? Thanks

Any good songs to make a math parody of?

For some reason the song "Still Alive" from Portal comes to mind.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe2U40Mi_... (<- this song is a cover of the original. I just prefer it).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RthZgszyk... (<- original. Starts at around 0:50)

[Now these points of data make a beautiful line
And we're out of beta, we're releasing on time
so I'm glad I got burned, think of all the things we learned
For the people who are still alive]

Haven't Had Enough - Mariana's Trench
[Testing, testing, I'm just suggesting
You and I might not be the best thing
Exit, exit, somehow I guessed it right
Was I right?]
[Well I just wish we could go back one more time and begin it
Back before I lost myself somewhere, somewhere in it
We've been stuck now, so long
We just got the start wrong
One more last try, I'mma get the ending right
You can't stop this, and I must insist that you haven't had enough
You haven't had enough]

Somewhere In Between - Lifehouse (In terms of this video this makes me think of someone stuck on a really really tough problem.)
[I can't be losing sleep over this, not I can't
And now I cannot stop pacing
Give me a few hours, I'll have this all sorted out
If my mind would just stop racing]

New Divide - Linkin Park (Can't resist putting this one)
[Give me reason to fill this hole
Connect the the space between
Let it be enough to reach the truth and lies
Across this new divide]

Hope this helps and good luck with your project : )

What are some ways to make my parody account, @TheJusticeEagle, more popular on Twitter?

Start RTing other people's related material. Unfollow 20 percent of the people who don't follow you back. Do this today. Use Crowdfire to help you accomplish this goal: Crowdfire - Grow on Instagram and Twitter. You need more people following you than you in turn are following. Aim for a ratio of no less than 2 to 1.Use the Crowdfire Keyword follow (Grow) option on the lefthand menu. Use keywords to source related accounts.Social media is about validating other people's content and experience. This means 90 percent of what you think is irrelevant. You do not matter. You are insignificant. Now, of course, you DO matter, you ARE significant, but in terms of a social media audience, your aim is to appeal to your audience, not showcase how clever or witty you are.Aim to post 80 to 90 percent of your content as related and shared content from other sources. Half the remaining content you post needs to speak to your user's needs, interests, and compulsions. The other half needs to be your thoughts—BUT, the bulk of your content needs to be shared.Reach out to people and tell them how much you admire their content. Ask them to follow you. As them to RT your stuff. Use images to create a visual stream that's not just text based. Images create visual variety. Video pulls people in and keeps them on your stream longer. How do I know these techniques and strategies work? Because they're the same strategies I've been using since January 2012 to build ArtMuseumGeek (@ArtMuseumGeek) | Twitter into a successful arts stream. And simply by using Crowdfire, I've added 500+ new followers to my personal stream Gary Bloomer (@GaryBloomer) | Twitter in the last four weeks. Good luck.

Easy songs to make a parody of?

For my language class we have to make a parody. We need to pick a song that is school appropriate and preferably has similes and/or metaphors and the lyrics can be changed easily. Do you have any ideas??? I would prefer them to be well known or pop songs (even though I dread pop music) because my teacher said those will be the easiest to do.

Good/Easy song to make a parody of?

Okay so I'm a freshman in Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus Honors. For extra credit, we need to make a parody of a song and the parody has to be relating to math. I really really need this extra credit to pass this class!! What are some easy songs I could make parodies too?

Also, any ideas for the parody itself? We have so far learned about:
-Logarithms
-Trigometric Idenities (sin, cos, tan)
-Graphing Trigonometric functions
- Graphing Functions (Descartes Chart)

How do you Autotune a video to make a parody?

Convert the YouTube video to audio. You want just the audio. Preferably in .WAV/ MP3 format. You can also import the video as well on certain audio software programs.Import that file into ANY audio editing software that Autotune will run on (Vst/AU). Then you need to actually go on YouTube and watch a few videos on how to use autotune after you have it loaded. It's going to take practice and patience if you're new to using autotune software.
