Will hairspray make your hair look hard?

The trick is to use it properly, if you put too much on or you get a brand which has a tendency to have that effect then your hair can look hard/ shiny. I know when I first started to use hairspray I used too much and now I see photos and my hair looked a bit hard so firstly the most important thing- don't use too much and spray with your arm extended so that the can is 20-30 cm away from your hair; that way you get a nice spread, even coverage and its not all "dolloped" in one place. Secondly, is the brand. Unless you want your hair absolutely rock-solidly to not move a single milimetre, which is not what hairspray is for- for that use gel-, then there are some brands which work like this but i've found they do make your hair look bad (i.e. the brand called Shockwaves by Wella) so I personally would recommend one of the best-selling brands called Elnett by Loreal (of which there are different strengths i.e. supreme hold, extra strength etc). Elnett is wonderful because it is not noticeable, works well, AND is easy to brush out of your hair!- something you will want at the end of the day when you want to wash your hair.

How can i make my hair gel not hard when it drys on my hair?

I need a hairspray that wont go hard..?

As some of you might know I recently cut my hair short and I hated it. I've figured out how to style it to make it look good. But this hair style means I need hairspray. I've been using one but it goes hard and makes my hair feel all greasy when it isn't.
Whats a good hair spray, gel or wax that I could use that has a decent hold but wont make my hair feel greasy or like straw.

I like my hair to feel soft and shiny.
Any tips?

How to make my soft hair naturally hard?

Show it some porn? Hahaha

I had to, sorry... Boys would use egg whites in place of gel when I was a kid. It's not natural but pomades are a great way to get a 'natural' groomed look. You should not wash your hair everyday. Shampoo every 2-3 days for healthier, more manageable hair. You can still get it wet and maybe throw some conditioner in while showering.

Shampoo makes my hair hard/dry?

I just got this new shampoo it's the Dove Pomegranate one and ever since I've been using it I've noticed that my hair turns hard/dry-ish when I try to rinse the shampoo out...It's like hard to move. The conditioner, however, doesn't make it hard/dry-ish. My hair is frizzy, so not straight, and it gets oily after awhile. I used to use Head & Shoulders, Shampoo & Conditioner together, and it doesn't make my hair hard. When I dry my hair it goes back to normal. But I'm just a little worried. Is it okay if I continue to use Dove instead of my old shampoo? I've used Dove before, but I don't know the pomegranate scented one makes my hair dry-ish. when I try to rinse it out. Soooo yeah...What do I use? And why does it make my hair feel like this when I try to rinse it out?
