How Do I Make Such A Good Quality Of Screen As In Hollywood Movies

How many movies does a hollywood actor do in a year?

On average, a popular star would make about two movies per year. Sometimes just one. It depends, in part, on the kind of movie.

The average movie takes about three months to film. But some movies take a lot longer, and get bogged down by special effects, stunts, multiple locations around the world, slow directors, child actors, bad weather, or whatever.

The time an actor spends on the set also depends upon how much screen time his character has in the movie. In some films, the star is on the screen almost 100% of the time. In other movies, the scenes cut between the star and other characters.

And a supporting actor, who only has a short screen time in a movie, might only spend a week or two shooting his scenes. So actors who mainly do smaller roles can appear in more movies per year than a leading man.

It also depends upon how much work the actor wants to take on, and how picky he is about his roles. A star who is very particular about scripts might go a year or two without making a movie, until he finds a script he likes. A workaholic type might pack in three movies in a year, while someone who enjoys his vacations might only do oneper year and relax in between.

Did old hollywood movies really use milk as rain instesd of water.?

In movies like "Singing in the Rain." I went to Universal studios and on the Earthquake ride in the room in the begining they said in order to make it look like it was raining, they sprinkled milk instead of water because the water didn't show up on the screen.
Is that true? I'm having a hard time believing that. I need more proof

Bollywood: How much money is needed to make a movie in Bollywood? By movie, I mean big screen movies?

Let me give you a simple formula. Each day of Production of Movie Shot on a high end digital Cameras (RED APEX, ARRI ALEXA etc.) with technical/support crew of 35-40 people, rigs, cranes, drones, dollies, trollies etc. should cost you anywhere from Rs. 100,000 to Rs.250,000 per day. Now multiply this by no. of days of shooting, you will get your production cost.Post-Production cost depends on lots of variable including Animation, VFX etc. but for a 120 minute film with minimum Digital Intervention a minimum of 350 -400 hrs. of editing/post studio time can be fairly estimated in your budget. Depending on the kind of edit/post suite you use, this price could range from anywhere between Rs.1500 - Rs. 3500 per hour.Of course, all this will depend on how accurately is the script timecoded. The more homework you do with precision in your pre-production stage, the less time you will require both on the Production floor, & in the Post-Production stages thereby, saving you on vital resources aka MONEY.Then if you are marketing & distributing it yourself, you will need to pump in as much money you spent on Production, into marketing your end product. Sometimes even more.So assuming you shot a 120 film over 35 days that took 350 hrs. of post, your Production Cost would be:Pre-Production: Rs. 25,000 per month x 6 months = 150,000Production Cost: Rs. 175,000/day x 35 days = Rs. 61,25,000Post-Production: Rs. 2500/hr. x 350 hrs. = Rs. 8,75,000Total COST: Rs 71,50,000The above budget is strictly for a movie shot in single Domestic location eg. Studio/ House etc. in Mumbai, or any big Production Center in India, and does not account for expenses towards erecting elaborate sets, Art direction & costumes. It also excludes expenses for back-ground artistes, Music Composer including back ground score, Talent, Top Technical Crew Fess including Screenwriter, Special License & permits, or over the top Post-Production requirements (CG, Animation etc.).Also, shooting with FILM CAMERA (Arri 435 or equivalent) will considerably inflate your production cost as the cost of Negatives is exorbitant and, its post-production time consuming.

Why are there no muslim actors in our big screen movies?

Hi....

I don't intend to be prejudice here, but I was just curious - why do we (or maybe its just me) not see any asian actors and actresses in big screen hollywood movies?

And i'm not talking about people like Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee, i'm talking about from other origins and cultures like for example; Muslims.

The reason why i ask this is because one of my friends is a Muslim and is just excellent in Performing Arts (he got an A* in his GCSE) and the question sprung in mind, why is it that when the credit rolls of an excellent blockbuster movie, we don't see any islamic names in them?

Furthermore, this also applies to music, why is it that no record label (as far as i'm aware) has signed a muslim person?

Is it because the Islamic religion forbids it or something?

I didn't want to tell my friend this as i thought it might hurt his feelings about his dreams and hopes for his future.

Thank you.

What separates Bollywood from Hollywood?

The main difference is the story. In Hollywood they create the story then choose the actors according to the roles. But in Bollywood the story is created according to the heroes. There are no much songs in Hollywood. The story is short and precise. They don't waste the time of the audience. In Bollywood when rain starts to pour there appears a song, when heroine smiles then again a song, when hero travels then a song.In Hollywood there is no image to maintain or cold war between Top hero's they can act without showing any egos. For ex: Avengers Infinity war(All top hero's acted in a single movie.)In Bollywood that will never happen.Star kids come straight to acting when a lot of talented People are waiting in the queue. Nepotism is the major problem in Bollywood that destroy Talent.Too much of copycat movies, songs, Dubbed movies. They don't even have creativity to think the story. This is a sad truth. There are a lot of dedicated Hollywood actors and they are recognised for their dedication and acting. But here those who dedicated are underrated and not recognised well.Bollywood gives more priority to beauty not acting but in Hollywood the actresses are not qualified because of the beauty, acting is Mandatory. In Hollywood the heroine plays the main character. Some movies depend on heroine they can take such risk. But in Bollywood it's rare. (Ex: Tomb rider, hunger games etc..In Bollywood maybe Kahani.)In Hollywood the story is more powerful so they can spent a large amount of money in VFX too. But here no story but only depend on VFX and big Actors.

Why are Korean movies so good?

The answers may be subjective but I try to be objective as much as possible with as many factors.S.Korea has becone one of the wealthiest economies in the world This makes it possible to attract screen writers and investers for movies despite the small Korean population.2.The job narket is so competitive due to not having abundant natural resources like China and other big territorial countries. So people in general work harder than the average people in other countries.3.The history of 5000 years has lots of stories to tell specially their epic tales. Daejangkum the first internationally successful drama opened the door for Korean Dramas for international audiences.4 Many foreign movies(not just American) were very popular prior to the recent cultural renaissance in Kpop, Kdrama along with booming Korean technologies of modern appliances. Thus this created the good basis for synergy effects for everything not just movies.5. Many directors are creative since the budget is limited compared to that of the u s a. So they work harder on stories, acting skills and other cinematic qualities.6.The people or the audiences expectation is high. In Korea 100 percent literacy and many are highly educated.( Many have studued abroad. ) Low quality films would not sell like those meanigless zombie movies in the states. People tend to be highly critical and many share their reviews through various sns.7. Other miscellaneous factors that I have missed. Any comment or added answer is welcome!
