How Do I Make The Get Out Of Video A Game

How To Make A Video Game?

I have been really interested in making my own video game. Like Modern Warfare 3, or Black ops.
But I have a few questions.

1. What requirements do I need to make graphics, sounds, and controls?
2. Do I need a special type of computer?
3. Do I need to learn any type of programming? (If so, what type)
4. How long will this take, by myself, with no team?
5. If I need any special types of programs to make a game with, what are they?

I have no experience with none of this, especially the coding. Where can I learn it, without going to college? (I'm to young to attend college) and without paying for it.
Now I know, I won't get high resolution, full out awesome graphics. I'm thinking about just making a game like "Wizard 101, and Roblox." just something simple. Wanting to create my own levels, own customization for the characters and have a good quality game. WITH amazing graphics, like realistic water. (From Grand theft auto 4) Now matter how long it takes.
Oh and also have Multi-player, for me and my friends can try out my new game! Also make custom usernames, and passwords, Forums, have chat in the game (without mic), no lag, and be able to play with other players, and being able to see them at the same time. (Their own character, they've customized) Just some thoughts. I'm thinking on making mine like Wizard 101, but no "wizards" in it.

Please take your time and try to answer my 5 questions. Thanks.

Why do I want to do this? Well. I'm currently home schooled. And I don't have enough work, which leaves me hours of free time, and nothing to spend it on. I want to learn and have fun at the same time! Coding would be a great start, experimenting on different things and such.

Thanks once again for reading this, I hope to hear from someone soon, I have been wondering how to do this for quite some time. Just looking for answers, some good ones.

How to make video games fun again?

I've been playing Halo 4 for the past two weeks and already I've lost interest. I played Halo 3 from when it came out, until about a year after MW2 came out, then got hooked on that. I picked up Black Ops and MW3 when they both came out, but I didn't see the replay value in those and lost interest after about a month each time. How do I make games fun again so that I'm playing constantly and never get bored? I always end up on the computer if I'm not having fun pwning some noobs.. Do games even have the replay value I got out of Halo 3 and MW2 anymore? I've tried watching videos on how to have fun and relax while playing. Like with Sandy Ravage's videos and he recommends drinking some good beer but I'm not old enough to go purchase alcohol. I've tried giving up video games too. I stopped playing this year in late March, but it wasn't till now that I started playing again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How do I get my brother off video games?

First off, let me say that I am not an expert in this matter on any level. However, I do have some experience in this subject. My husband is an avid gammer, and I enjoy it myself. When we first got married he picked up WoW, and boy did it cause issues. He was playing every night as soon as he got home from work, all weekend, ignoring dinner time, and was even late to work on a few occasions when he tried to play in the morning before leaving. I was feeling ignored, and I resorted to increasingly drastic measures. I would slam his laptop close, unplug the wifi, I once even cut the power to the house. Of course, none of that worked, it just started massive fights. So, after our son was born, I sat down with him and told him I want going to take care of a baby by myself while he closeted himself with his computer. Once he understood how neglected I had been feeling we worked out a schedule. He agreed he could play from the time he got home until dinner was ready, but dinner time until the baby went to bed was family time. And to keep night times free, we agreed that game time would be limited to every other night, and only one day on the weekend. It wasn't perfect, but it was a compromise that everyone could live with. My husband even managed to get me into WoW for a while, and we had a really great group of friends that we played with, so even that became bonding time. Sit down with your boyfriend, and explain to him how you feel. If he really cares about you, then together you can work something out.

Does video games makes you ugly?

Playing too much will make you fat because of the lack of exercise of not moving around a lot. Plus the poor dieting by eating a lot of junk food which can cause some acne on your skin. Lastly, you will have a social issue since you're too caught up with playing with video games instead of going out face to face interacting with people.

Should I get rid of all my video games? I love playing games, but I also feel like it's such a hindrance.

Yes.You should get rid of all your videogames.I say that as a game developer, and someone who’s played games my entire life, but have always been able to balance gaming, responsibilities, and the other things I’d like to do.If you feel they are a hindrance, consuming too much of your resources (the most important being time), and you are not able to maintain a balance of activities while games are available, then YES, you should get rid of them.“Self-control” and “willpower” are basically nonsense. The way to be successful is to take advantage of the times when you have a sense of clarity and will, and use that time to set yourself up for success in the times that you don’t.If you feel like games are a hindrance and you want to do other things, then set yourself up to do those other things now, because you won’t do it while you’re playing games.Do you think anyone sits at their deathbed and regrets that they didn’t play the fifth Call of Duty? No. Games are addictive. For most people, they’re fine - but for some they’re not. If you feel like you’re wasting your life, then take the moments when you have the determination to make a change and make a change. If you don’t like the change you’ve made, it’s trivial to un-do it later when it comes to something like this.Games only get cheaper as time passes. They’ll be there if you ever want them back. You’ll never get your life back if you let it slip away.Good luck!
