How can I repair a broken zipper pull on a jacket?
I bought my son a brand new jacket. Being the boy that he is, he has already broken off the little pull tab thing that zips up the zipper. The zipper is in perfect working condition and he can still zip it but without that little tab, it's cumbersome. When he told me about it, I thought I could simply buy another pull tab and just hook it on. However, after looking at it, I see he's actually broken off the metal loop that holds the tab in place. Is the battery store responsible for the death of my FR70?
I had the battery of my Garmin FR70 (which is water resistant to 50m) replaced at a battery store. They did not warn me that the watertight seal had been broken, so when I went swimming a week later, the watch died. I called the battery store later and asked hypothetically whether or not they could repair a watch and maintain its water resistance, to which they responded that they couldn't guarantee it. I took the watch to a professional watch repair store and they said that they could do nothing about the water damage. So my question is: is the battery store responsible for the death of my watch? They did not warn me to keep it from water, and it clearly says "water resistant 50m" on the back of the watch.
