Actually it’s already been done!CTGP is a custom track distribution mod that adds several things to the game:online gameplay via Wiimmfiover 200 custom tracks made by playerscountdown mode (replaces battle mode)item rain (pretty new) where every item in the game can fall randomly on the track for you to pick up.I haven’t played CTGP because I don’t have a MKWii disk anymore (and it doesn’t work in Dolphin emulator), but I can see from several people that it is really fun. How can I play Gamecube backups from a USB drive on a Wii?
In gamecube mode wii specific hardware is disabled (usb drives, the second processor, wifi, bluetooth, etc) so you won't be able to play backups from usb. you can use an sd card through an sd gecko plugged in to one of the gamecube memory card slots though.
Wii U softmodded 5.1.2 U?
My Wii U updated to 5.1.2U using Mario 3D World, and I really want to have it softmod. Does anyone know if I can still softmod using exploits? (Bathaxx, Letterbomb...?) Also, does it work with MicroSDHC (w/ adapter)?

It starts because u probably installed bootmii as boot2. If you install priiloader via a wad manager/ installer you can change the settings of the boot

If you have a Wii U you can use an SD card to transfer everything from your Wii to the Wii U then just play the games in Wii Mode if you don’t want to use the eShop discount to get the Wii U version. Note that not all Wii Shop Channel games are available on Wii U eShop and the Wii Shop Channel will be discontinued in 2019, so buy games while you still can.That’s what I did and my Wii lives on as a GameCube, though I’m annoyed that I can’t use my GameCube controllers with the games I’ve got on the Wii U.

You're both wrong. It can be played with the Wii remote (no nunchuck required). Green = B (trigger) Red = Right on the D-pad Yellow = A button Blue = 1 button Orange = 2 button Activate star = Up on the D-pad Shake the Wiimote to activate the whammy bar It's very hard to do, and it's a much better game with a guitar, but those will work. Those will also work for battle mode, so you can play against a friend even if you only have one guitar.

Any Wii game with online multiplayer support will have their save data copy-protected. This was done mostly to prevent users from breaking their friends lists. If you wish to transfer gamesave data from your Wii to your Wii U, the only official option is to use the Wii-to-Wii U transfer tool, which requires you to download the tool from the Wii Shop & have an internet connection for both systems as well as an SD card (of at least 1 GB or larger) The transfer tool TRANSFERS EVERYTHING (Wii Shop account information, digital library, save files including the copy-protected stuff... practically EVERYTHING) from your Wii to your Wii U. Please be aware that the transfer will erase everything off your Wii (as it's going to your Wii U). The UNOFFICIAL option is to softmod both your Wii & Wii U (in Wii Mode) to use a homebrew savefile manager, which ignores all the copy protection restrictions... but this does present some brick risk (as you're tampering with the internal storage of your Wii & Wii U), so it's not recommended unless you're experienced.
