How do I put a read receipt on emails sent? URGENT?
In Outlook or Outlook Express you can open a new message and click on Options. Under 'Voting and Tracking options' there are checkboxes for 'Request a delivery receipt for this message' and 'Request a read receipt fo this message'. Please note: delivery/read receipts can be blocked by the server or by the user. There is a setting in Outlook that stops them from being sent, so you may never receive them from specific individuals.
Is There A Way To Send A Hidden Read Receipt In Outlook?
There are some web sites that give you a graphic to embed in your email and then they let you know if mail has been read. If someone blocks graphics from unknown people then it doesn't work. If I turn off read receipts, read an iMessage and then turn them back on, will it show as being read?
The short answer is no.The process of sending Read Receipts only runs at that point at which the status of a message changes from “unread” to “read” (i.e. when you first open a conversation with a new message, thereby clearing the blue dot or red notification badge). If Send Read Receipts is off at that point, no read receipt will be sent.In other words, Read Receipts are only ever possibly sent for messages that begin as unread. Once a message has already been read, the process of sending a read receipt simply doesn’t run for the last message in the conversation any more than it would if you were scrolling through your old iMessage conversations.Note that if you’re using multiple devices, however (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Mac) you’ll want to make sure that Send Read Receipts is turned off on ALL of them, otherwise you might find yourself in a situation where read receipts are sent when reading a new message on your Mac, but not when reading one on your iPhone. This setting is generally synced across your devices using iCloud in recent iOS versions, but it doesn’t always work properly, and of course all of your devices have to be running a current iOS version.

No they won’t know it. Read Receipts must remain enabled to check on both sides i.e., one who is sending the status updates and one who is reading the status updates. Without Read Receipts enabled it is not possible to check whether a person who has disabled Read Receipts has seen your status or not.Read Receipts is the function of WhatsApp which allows users to see whether their messages Or statuses have been Read ( blue ticks in case of messages) by the recepients or not. However if somebody disbales the Read Receipts they themselves also won’t be able to check whether their messages ( blue ticks) Or statuses have been Read or not by others.
Alternatives to Read Receipts / MsgTag.com?
Embed an image into the email. Have this image sit on your web server. Monitor your web server logs, and when the image gets a hit, you know the email it's on has been viewed. This is how spammers verify working email addresses. But because of this, it's also the reason why many email clients block embedded images. And it also requires you to be running a web server. So obviously it's not the best solution. But there is no other alternative.
How to send an email with high priority and read receipt?
Yahoo free mail doesn't provide that option. Yahoo Mail Plus does,but you have to pay for it. You can try one of these links. http://www.trackmyemail.com http://www.getnotify.com/ http://www.didtheyreadit.com You can put a message in the Subject in all caps to draw it to their attention. Like "URGENT" or something. Yahoo doesn't have the option for high priority alerting. If they have the tool bar or the messenger that will tell them when they receive a new email.
