Windows 7 On a 4gb hard drive?
There is some commercial software you can use to remove certain features from windows as to make it smaller (cannot remember their name, and I personally haven't used any of them) However even so, I don't really think this is going to help you, you have an old PC with only 4GB HDD space, even if you get windows installed on it, you are going to run into a multitude of problems along the way (Motherboard may not support windows 7, GPU may not support Win7, may not have enough RAM) you also wont be able to install much more software even if you get Win7 on it.

To install windows into an empty hard drive you must make sure the hard drive is connected properly. You can go to the manufacturer's website they will have a video or instructions on how to do this. After it is installed properly check the bios to see if it recognizes the new hard drive, put all hard drives settings on auto detect 99% of the time that works fine. In the bios change the settings to allow to boot off dvd media. Open your box put the dvd intall your dvd/blu ray drive, restart the computer. When the comouter restarts should say press any key to boot off multi media drive, push enter. When the boot menu finally appears, options should be create new partition, delete current partition if one already exist, if new hard drive hit create or old one hit delete will have you confirm choice. After that can format can do fast or quick and full, I always do full make sure everything is gone, full also checks to make sure hard drive is not going bad, after awhile should install and your done, just need to install any other drivers or software you might need.

You can install Windows 7, but you need BootCamp to do it. I'm surprised that you got a virus on the Mac. There's malware, of course, but no viruses yet; and the malware is all easily identified and removed.You will not be able to use any OS X software on Windows 7. That includes PhotoBooth. OS X and Windows 7 are completely different operating systems.The Apple store won't be able to help you with anything related to Windows 7 other than possibly helping setup BootCamp.
