Facebook message sent but not delivered?
It only started tonight and with one contact only. I sent a few messages and the latest one has come up as "sent" (blue ring). However, when she comes online, it doesn't change?
If I sent a message on Facebook Messenger and it was just "sent", and then I deleted it, will the recipient ever recieve it?

I turned off my chat last night and returned it back on but know my messages are not sending. In order for me to read message i have to unistall the app this is the only way i can talk to my deployed husband can some please help me he can not read any messages i have sent him
Facebook messenger app saying delivered but never read?
I ve sent a message to someone late yesterday. The message says delivered;notified but never seen. This has done this before with this same person and it said delivered and never changed to seen until they started a convo a week later. They ve been "green" on chat several times since yesterday evening so I assume that they have been on or looked at their Facebook. I m new to the messenger app and don t really understand how it works. Is there a reason it s not changing? Am I being ignored? What s the deal?

I sent a message on Facebook to a non-friend and it just says sent. Can they read my message if it still says sent and they are not showing active?
When you send a message to someone that is not your friend or otherwise directly connected, the subject of such a message will receive a notification that “________ wants to connect with you on Messenger.” The person receiving the message will then be redirected to “Message Requests” which acts like a pending inbox and will either “Accept” or “Decline” your message with your message on the screen.If they Decline the message, the message will sit in your inbox as “Sent” but not “Read”.If they accept your message, Facebook will update the message status to “Read”. Additionally, while sending additional messages, their “Read” or “Sent” status will be updated along the way.While you are not connected with them, you will not be able to see if they are “active” even if they “accept” your message to begin with. Only Friends can see if others are active or not. (Provided they did not “Turn Off” their messenger.)

Can you tell if someone read your message on facebook?
Online, I dont think you can. But on "facebook messenger" it usually will tell you when someone reads your message, like itll say for example: "seen at 12:23pm" or something like that, I dont know, it does that for my android. "Facebook messenger" is a facebook message app for phones/ipod touches/ipads. Edit: Yes, thats exactly what it means.
