What does it mean if I remember my dreams every night?
Hey, I'm kind of trying to figure that out as well Kaylee. It's gotten to the point that I can now remember my dreams after every night/morning in great detail. I do think some of it has to do with the sleep pattern but I think it also has to do with a type of system of memory we set up after it begins happening so frequently, that it becomes almost automatic. It's also gotten to the point where I can consciously observe the transition of entering dreams instead of just getting in bed, then waking up the next morning and you typically dont see the point where you went from being awake to being asleep. Remembering the dreams are very interesting but strangely enough I feel that my mind is not resting fully, because I can remember all the things in the dreams as though I've been actively doing stuff all night. As for what it truly means? Dont know yet. But as the dream recall has been gradually increasing over time I've decided that once youre conscious and active in the dream world it seems that in fact this dream/sleep time is more important than simply resting the body. As we must grow and develop in this 'real' world, we must also grow and develop in the dream world as it will not do it on its own without a conscious effort.
Kurt Cobain Dream...?
I had this dream a little while ago. Kurt Cobain (of Nirvana if you don't know) was outside my house screaming up at a girl to come out (I didn't recognize the name), i think some of his friends were there too. So I went down to my driveway and their he was hiding behind my mom's truck. I sat their with him talking and the conversation was good. He gives me what he called a 'cocaine plant' lol. but it looked like one of my mom's flowers because it was in a pot. It had no flowers though. I was like 'kurt...uhhhh..I don't do drugs' and then he convinced me keep it. I gave it a lick and it tasted like sugar. We ended up going to a convenience store and then he paid this girl to give him a BJ. She was under a blanket so you couldn't see anything graphic. So as that was going on we were still talking. Then the girl going down on him budded into our conversation. I was like,'shut up whore and just keep doing what you're doing.' then that was pretty much where it ended. lmfao. sooo anyway. It was pretty cool to have a Kurt Cobain dream since i'm a fan but can anyone give me some insight to what all that means? any symbols or whatever? thanks to anyone who actually read all of that.
Really cute dream, but why did I dream it?
Sorry its so long but I swear its worth it if you read it cause its really cute. And I really appreciate anything you wanna say about what you think or if you know what it could mean. Also if it matters at all I'm a Junior, 16 years old... and uh if its not obvious already a girl.
What does it mean if you dream of the same place more than once but you've never been there?
You say that this is a recurring kind of dream. I am wondering if you, five years ago, had some big dream (some desire in your waking life) that really, really inspired you - so much so that you may have set your sights on it. It may have been about a career or about a dream like in the arts, or a sport even (anything) that you wanted fulfilled. But after five years, nothing much has eventuated about that dream you once might have had that was so strong and now maybe you are feeling very disappointed? Sometimes desires for something wonderful for oneself come as a very bright and very inspirational spark. The young girl (for eg) says "I want to be a dancer!" or "I"m going to write that novel that's in my head", but alas, life happens and there's much to do and endure and that inspiration fades, even to the point of being forgotten. Anyway, there's no way of telling if my interp is on the right track, but it may have been helpful to you. Whatever happens, if you have a desire within for something wonderful for yourself, something that could even be extraordinary, you can still achieve that. You are your own guest of honour - and the hard work you put in now will get for you all that your dream has inspired you to desire. No dreams needs to lie in pieces under your feet. :)
How come people look different in my dreams?
Every time I have a dream about someone I know, they look completely different. Like last night I had a dream about my best friend, and I knew it was her, but she was a horse. I didn't even think about it until I woke up, but I KNOW that she was a horse in my dream.
