How to remove broken spark plugs?

i have a 1994 ford f350 with a 7.5l 460 gas engine. 2 spark plugs are broken inside the heads. My dad and i have tried to get them out using Pb blaster and ez outs, but still no luck. We have also tried heating it with a torch, and that didn't work either. Is there another option, or a spark plug removal kit that would work for this truck? thanks

Broken spark plug in motor....How to remove?

I've broken the insulator in the rear of my 455 Trans-Am several times. Sounds like the socket was not on the plug all of the way. Now that the insulator has broken off, you may be able to get a normal socket wrench on it, it is smaller than a spark plug socket and will give you more room and possibly more leverage. You should still be able to unscrew the plug like normal. If it is stuck, try spraying some penetrating oil on it first and letting it set for a hour. This will loosen any rust that is preventing it from turning.
Hammering it will damage the threads and possibly crack the head. A torch will warp the head.
If all else fail, you will have to remove the head and take it to a machine shop. A pain, but better than buying a new cylinder head!

What is the proper way to remove a broken spark plug?

Generally, in fact nearly always, the piece that breaks is the ceramic tower. If that breaks, you simply remove the spark plug exactly as if the ceramic was not broken; the hexagonal metal body is still intact and still capable of driving its own threaded portion. If the hexagonal metal body is broken, then the ceramic core is probably no longer in place. This being the case, an "easy-out" screw extractor works just fine to remove the remaining threaded shank. Note, though, that the head should still be removed to gain access to the ceramic spark plug nose, which will have dropped inside the cylinder. Failing to do this will result in engine damage if the engine is ever started.

How would I remove a broken spark plug from a 1994 Honda Accord?

I removed the valve cover and it wasn't any help. The plugs sit in a long prob 6in to 8in cylinder on top of the valve cover. The plug broke loose of the threads that are on it so the plug came out but the threads are stuck down in the cylinder where the spark plugs are in. This is a 94 vtec engine. I was told by honda that the head would have to be removed but i'm a novice and i'm trying to avoid that route.

How to remove a broken spark plug from a 2000 Ford explorer 5.0?

How can I remove a spark plug broken with out removing the head or timers belt I heard about somethin?

First of all, how is the spark plug broken? Is just the white porcelain broken, or did you break the nut from the threads? Also, what kind of engine is it in? Does the engine have cast iron heads, or aluminum heads? These are all factors that are needed to be known before a repair method can be decided on.

Quickest solution, spray a generous amount of WD-40 brand penetrating oil at the base of the plug housing, and let it sit there for 24 hours. Then get yourself a spark plug socket of the correct size and a large breaker bar and just torque the heck out of it. This solution assumes that you did not break the spark plug's metal housing.

The only time I would use any kind of torch for spark plug extraction is on a cast iron head. You don't burn out the spark plug body, rather use the torch to heat up the base metal around the spark plug. This causes thermal expansion, loosening the hold that the cylinder head has on the spark plug body.
