How Do I Report Persistent Threatening Spam

Should I File a Police Report on my Neighbor? Threatened to Kill me?

About a month ago, I slammed my door and my upstairs neighbor came down and threatened me.
He said, "You best stop that, you little skank or I'm calling the police!"
I told him whatever and about an hour later went upstairs to try to talk with him because I'm the type of person to not like conflict.

He then threatens to "f**** kill me" and "snap my f**** neck in half".

I told my husband about the argument but not about the threats, and I'm afraid that now he wouldn't believe me because it's been so long.
He already made it clear he didn't want to get involved in any conflict, so I figure I best take matters into my own hands.

A few nights ago, my mom was coming to pick me up for laundry and she unknowningly was in his parking spot for a few minutes.
He gets out and says, "THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS GET OUT OF MY F**** PARKING SPOT!"
My mom tells him not to be so rude and he repeats himself and while at first I didn't take his threat too seriously, now I'm beginning to fear for my safety.
This guy is about five times my size (I'm a girl) and in terms of physical strength he could seriously injure me.

What should I do?

I already plan to talk to my landlord about this.

Should I file a police report, too?

I hate to have anyone kicked out of their home, but I can't move once my lease is up on account of the fact that I cannot afford it financially and because I live right across from my college and I can't drive.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

DDT & mercury threatened to living organisms, why?

It's an ecological process called "amplification." It happens because these particular toxins are soluble in fat (and therefore don't go away) and these particular organisms are at the top of the food chain. Let's say a mouse gets one gram of it. Then a cat eats five mice - then the cat has five grams of it. Then a wolf eats three cats. That wolf then has fifteen grams of it. These numbers are of course arbitrary and theoretical, but that's the basic idea - those at the top of the food chain get the most fat-soluble toxins.

What events show the persistence of racial tension during WWII?

Do a report on the WW2 experiences of Lanier Phillips....

I once interviewed Mr. Phillips, who served in the U.S. Navy during WW2, for the Mississippi Press in Pascagoula, Ms. Toward the end of WW2, he was transferred to Jacksonville, Florida. He got off the train hungry and looked for someplace to eat. After being pointed to a nearby mess hall, he entered the mess hall only to be knocked to the floor by an MP. He told me that he had not really noticed that people were eating the mess hall and they were all white. The MP pulled out his gun and threatened to shoot Phillips because he dared to eat in a mess hall where whites were eating.

Phillips, btw, was in his Navy uniform. And, the white men eating at the mess hall? They were Italian and German prisoners of war. Here was a guy who was wearing out nation's uniform in a time of war, but, because he was black, had fewer rights than those who had fought for our enemies....

The links in the sources can tell you about Phillips, who isn't as well known as some others.

How do you motivate yourself to improve, moderate or report questions and answers on Quora? Is there anything Quora could do to improve your motivation?

To put things simply, I like things being properly organized. I detest spam, vandalism and unnecessary duplication - this is just how I’m wired, and doing my part to clean things up is normal.Quora could improve its’ response to spam reports - they haven’t taken action against more than half a dozen of blatantly obvious spammers weeks after their accounts and posts have been reported, nor do they take action against spam posted by banned spammer accounts (hello, Quora, as long as that textual diarrhea stays here, for the spammer it’s “mission accomplished”!!!) - and tune that ridiculous Quora Content Review system to stop it from acting like an automated vandal. For that matter, they could also actually take action on vandalism reports - right now there’s a user who persistently re-vandalizes a question for about two weeks now and has been reported multiple times to no effect.

What is the difference between spam and Phishing?

Phishing is the attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and money), often for malicious reasons, by disguising as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Spam costs the sender very little to send -- most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender. For more

Is spamming an email account same as phishing?

There is a lot of misunderstanding about the term spam. It's not limited to unsolicited commercial emails. It's a technique about sending high volumes of messages (usually email messages) to recipients that didn't provide any consent, usually using illegal means (botnets, hacked servers, hacked legit accounts with stolen credentials, etc). The term originates from a Monty Python episode and it's about repeating the message over and over, not about advertising.Spam techniques are used also for advertising but today they are used mostly to deliver ransomware and phishing via email. Also the term phishing is misused. It's not just about stealing information, it's about tricking the recipient to do something by masquerading as a reputable source.Phishing is used both to steal information like bank accounts and also to trick the user to install malware.Spam is a technique to deliver a messagePhishing is a deceptive message. Finally phishing is usually delivered via spam.
