How do I remove a non-friend from Facebook messenger contact list?
Took me a minute to figure it out. Deleting the conversation doesn't necessarily remove a contact who is a non-friend on Facebook. To remove the contact open your menu in messenger (it's at the far right bottom corner. 3 dots and 3 lines. This is where you go to see your message requests). You should see a list of names under the heading: People with messenger. Scroll down until you find the name of the contact you want to remove. To the right of their name click the “i”. Then it will tell you when you added that contact and here you can choose to remove them. Deleting the conversation doesn't remove the contact only the conversation. They will still have access to your messenger day and be able to sseewhen you are active. I tested this theory and it does not work. To remove a contact completely, you must do so in the menu on messenger. Hope this helps someone!
If you sync your mobile contacts on the facebook messenger app, do they have to also have you in their list?
So you have Bob as a contact in your iPhone. But, Bob does not have you as a contact in his iPhone. You download the facebook messenger application from the app store. You go into the application and choose to sync with contacts. Will Bob still show up as a synced facebook mobile app contact?

Click in the search icon at the top of the page and enter the person's name and hit http://search.it will give you the profile pic. Of the person u wanna connect with…probably will be a few that comes up. Pick the most recent one..boom connected again..
Question about Facebook Messenger/Chat?
Most people look for answers to "Why do online contacts appear offline?" Which is easily answered using common sense. They appear offline because they don't want to talk. But, MY question is: Why did one of my OFFline contacts all of a sudden appear ONline when I know for a FACT that she was asleep at the time? I have a friend overseas and the time difference is 5 hours. So it is now 9:30 p.m. here, it is 2:30 a.m. there and I know for a fact that she went to sleep 2 hours ago. I'm on facebook and all of a sudden her account goes online but does not read my messages. I messaged her on Touch (phone messenger) and the messages were unread but delivered. Please do not say that she is lying to me or anything because I know she isn't. She is very ill with chest infection and really can barely move and sleeps most of the day for the last week, she was very ill-looking when I skyped her today and she definitely went to sleep, so please do not give me those types of answers. I need to know if facebook has some sort of bug, or if the only explanation (if a facebook bug is ruled out) is that she was hacked by a friend. Thank you very much.

I've sold lots of things on Facebook groups, and as a result, a lot of people I don't know are now "contacts" on Messenger. How do I get rid rid of all my non-friends at once? I don't even know how to do it one at a time.

Facebook Messenger app problem with pics?
IOS6 has a permissions functions that gives permission to apps to access your photos or contacts. It seems there is a bug and this feature was overlooked by FB messenger. I too can send the picture using the main FB app but not the messenger app. I think FB will update this soon.
