How Do I Schedule Two Jobs On Top Of Going To School

How to schedule two different jobs?

On your application, indicate that you are still employed by your most recent employer.

When you fill out your availability to work, give an accurate availability that coordinates with your first job.

Now, do you have a fixed schedule for your first job? Or can your schedule change weekly or monthly? If you have a job where the schedule changes, like most part-time ones do, then you probably will have little success managing two jobs, unless the second one is fixed and you can adjust your work schedule from the first job.

Good luck with work.

Is it possible to work two full-time jobs, go to school, and do a startup? If yes, how?

Wow you sound very ambitious and I want to congratulate you on your drive. I would love to help you gain some perspective on you journey so here is my opinion. You have to ask yourself a couple of hard hitting questions such as. How good do I want to be in all my endeavors? How passionate am I in each area I want to engage in? How much leisure time am I truly ready to sacrifice? On a scale of 1–10 how disciplined am I? These questions may lead to more soul-searching questions which will get you to answer you own question. Also there are alot more other variables that need to go into play as well. However if you are seriously focused, flexible, have great time management skills and are determined I am quite sure you can work two full time jobs, attend school and do a start-up. It is possible, anything really is possible, but it is not that probably especially if you have never carried such a heavy workload before. However here is my breakdown of what you could probably do:Work no more than 80 hours a day on both your jobs. Attend school part-time that is probably 2 classes and take the classes online or weekend classes. Then in the early morning hours before you start work or late at night when you come home you can work on your start up.Bear in mind you most likely will be mediocre at best in all these endeavors if you choose to handle them all at one time. My suggestion is that you need to scale down a bit. Maybe do a full-time and part-time job and take summer classes online. Then on the weekends you can work on your startup.I personally know how hard it is. I worked two jobs while in school full time and while building my website www.jobcoachforfelons.com. I was able to save quite a bit of money graduated with honors and build a thriving online business which I am proud of. So I know it is possible. It will take alot out of you and challenge you in ways you would have never dreamed. There will be 3-hour sleep nights, and tireless days and your stress levels may rise by a third, but it is definitely worth it at the end. Keep your faith and ambitions. Wish you the best.Good Luck Stay Focused- Coach Tee

Going back to school at 24/25?

People of all ages go back to school at all ages. Do not be discouraged by age, if you want to go back to school, just do it. You will happy you did it in the long run, you will be more attractive as a potential employee, will have the potential for higher wages, will give you an edge over those without a degree, etc. Plus, you will feel better about yourself. I did.
I am 31, in my 2nd year towards my bachelor's degree, and have busted my butt to keep a 4.0 average. My classes are very diverse, with fresh out of high school students as well as grandparents. It's actually really refreshing, I learn just as much from the other students in my classes than I do from our professors. It's a challenge to work and go to school at the same time, but with dedication and determination, you can do it!

Good luck!

Would working 3 jobs at the same time and going to school full-time be considered good work ethic?

No. Not unless your 3 jobs are all extremely part time anyway. If you were my student or employee, I would be pissed. How are you supposed to be present in the moment and give me your complete focused attention and effort when you aren’t taking care of yourself in order to do so?As a restaurant manager, I had a dishwasher that would always take his ten minute break on the Chef’s desk and fall asleep next to a pint glass of coffee. 10 minutes later he would wake up, pound the coffee, and get back to work. Poor guy was working 3 three jobs, sometimes six 8-hour shifts back to back. He was the hardest working man I have ever met, and still, he cut corners all over the place.Keep yourself to a 55 hour per week schedule at the very most, and don’t even keep that pace for long. I think the peak on the productivity/time worked curve is around 36 hours a week.

Is anyone working two jobs and going to college at the same time?

I have 3 part-time jobs and am attending community college part-time as well.

To stay mentally healthy, I try to condense two activities into one - such as exercise and girl-chat. My friend and I walk 3 miles after work every Tuesday and Thursday. It's something that I look forward to after a long day at work and our girl talk makes it seem like we aren't even exercising :)

To stay physically healthy, I try to always get at least 7.5 hours of sleep - even if it means going to bed at 8:45 pm. Also, I have found out that when I feed my body healthy food, I tend to stay healthy. Work fruits and veggies into your diet, even if it means eating an apple in your car on the way to work.

Can i still collect unemployment while going to school?

can you? it is possible BUT....
if the school schedule conflicts with the "normal" operating hours of the type of work you had
or
if you refuse a job offer
or
if you are not offered a job due to your availability;
you will be deemed ineligible for unemployment.

if you lie (failing to be truthful is a lie) to the unemployment office and are caught you can/will be required to repay any benefits that were received in error, can be fined, can be banned from any future benefits for 3 years after the date you become eligible again, and if the fraud is large enough you can face criminal charges that can include jail time

How do you get sleep when working 2 full time jobs?

The feelings that we have, whether they are pain, nausia, or discomfort, all serve a biological purpose. They are our body's way of changing our behavior. For example, if you touch something hot, you instinctively pull away - you're body is causing pain so you don't get burned. Clearly, you are living a heavy-duty lifestyle. Between an overwhelming work load, and lack of sleep, your body isn't finding time to rest and recuperate. Your body is creating Nausia for a purpose - to modify your behavior. Nausia makes it harder to be active, which is your body's way of trying to force you to rest. Your body is realizing that sleepiness and fatigue haven't been enough to convince you to give your body the rest it requires. The nausia is basically your body sending your brain and nervous system a signal - REST! My advice is talk to your manager or supervisor and tell them you haven't been feeling well. Nothing is more important than your health, and if you keep ignoring the messages your body is sending you, it will be difficult to feel better. Your body can adapt to the stress of your lifestyle, but there are limits.

How do I balance my schedule between college and internships?

Interact with your potential mentor. This is very important, as you'd get to know him/her fore-hand, and also it would give you an opportunity to learn more about the project you are going to work upon. So, you can do some preliminary reading or work in that particular direction, so as to avoid some starter hassles.Ask him/her to help you with some resources or tutorials, which would aid you to learn the skills necessary for the upcoming project. They would be very happy to help you in this regard. And believe me, they do wait for this mail, as it would give a good impression that you are willing to put in some extra efforts for learning, during your free-time for the project. Finally, have a good knowledge about the company, it's work culture, etc. This is very important, as it would help you conjure some quick, useful conversations with your mentor and the employees at the company on the first day itself.Good Luck!

As a 15 year old high school student, what are jobs available to me during the summer?

While pet sitting was recommended, I think that depending on where you live there might be one slightly better...Become a dog walker. One of the nice things about that is that if the dogs will get along, you can walk several dogs and get paid for each as if you were walking only one. So if you charge $10 per hour per dog, and you get just 3 compatible dogs, you are now earning $30 per hour...more than many people. I suspect that no matter where you are there are enough people who would like to have their dogs walked and they aren't able to do it that are happy to pay to have it done. The obvious key is that the dogs are going to get along. My 2 cents.

Can one become a data scientist without going to school and get a job afterwards?

Thank you for the A2A.It depends on what you mean by "without going to school".You know how to read and write as demonstrated by this post. But I can't imagine anyone learning data science without, at the very least, some exposure to programming and high school mathematics and even so, as far as statistics and mathematics goes, you'd need to learn a lot by yourself. In this particular case, I think it's possible to learn but the competition for a job will be fierce. If on the other hand what you mean is not getting higher education related to data science, you can learn by yourself but your learning curve will depend a lot on your experience both professional and educational.Basically, nothing is impossible but the higher your education the easier it will be.
