How Do I Sell Items On Ebay

How do I sell my items on eBay?

I have them uploaded and no one has bought them in over a month. I am selling American girl dolls and accessories for what I believe is a reasonable price. I keep getting watchers, but no buyers. Any suggestions?

Can I sell an item I don't have on Ebay?

I can't speak to Ebay's rules on the issue, doing so might violate Ebay TOS, which may or may not be a big deal depending on damages, and their response.  But I can speak to the legal principles at issue, so that's what I will do.This issue is fundamental contract law: offer, acceptance, expectation damages. The ebay post would constitute an offer, unless you provided a disclaimer.  By posting on ebay, you are saying: "Hey, I will sell you this thing for this price if you press this button."  After someone presses the button, they have accepted your offer, and you should perform.  Performance in this case is providing the item promised in the offer. If you can actually provide the customer with the product requested within the time frame agreed upon, all is good from a legal POV.  However, if you cannot, you are liable to the customer for expectation damages.  Expectation damages are the value that the contract had to the non-breaching party.  So, if the buyer is buying a radio, and you cant perform, and he sues you, you must provide the buyer with the value that he anticipated (either you find him a radio or you provide him with the market value of a radio at the time the contract was to be performed upon).  You must make the buyer whole, in other words.Things get more complicated if the buyer is a reseller or manufacturer.  Then, you are on the hook for lost profits that result from your breach.  So, if you were going to sell the radio for $1, and the buyer was going to resell it for $10 to another buyer, you are on the hook for the $9 lost profit.  If the buyer is a reseller who sells to other resellers, things could get really complicated (consequential damages). To limit your liability, I would price the products that you offer at or near market value, and I would not sell any goods that are unique (only sell goods that are freely available on the market, and which are produced by a number of manufacturers that all produce essentially the same product at the same price).

I'm selling a virtual item on ebay?

I'm selling for virtual item on ebay, but I accidentally clicked on free shipping for the customer but it is "Second Day Air" which I guess means I'll be paying for the shipping if I had to ship anything out. But it's a virtual item, which means it's not even physical, so I don't have to ship anything, will the transaction still go smoothly? Or will I be prompted to ship anyways? Please help me.

What happens if you sell fake items on eBay?

Well, i was scammed a few times one ebay, how they do it is the get some cheap look-a-like and jack the price up a lot than get a stock photo of a really expensive purse and when you buy the item, the send you the fake one and when you get it and realize it's fake they tell you to send it back and they will give you a real one, but you send it back and they don't send you anything in return and they have the bag again to go and do the same thing to some other person and you never hear from the seller again. to prevent this from happening, look at what else the seller sold in the past and does the seller have a good feedback if they have only been selling purses, also, don't buy if the only picture you see is a stock photo or ask the seller to send you pics of the real item over email. hope i could help! also, you can sue them if you have enough evidence to support your claim and do NOT send the item back.

When do you get paid if you sell an item on eBay?

Usually immediately. When you sent an invoice (if there is a shipping calculation that eBay can't do for you - like combined shipping which is multiple items). Ebay ‘s system prompts you to set up shipping and payment preferences when you list. Most sellers - when it comes to a straight out sale (or auction) request payment on 3–7 days. For some sales - like if it has a reserve will require immediate payment. However, this doesn’t apply to checks - if anyone uses that method, rather than Paypal or credit cards.
