If you're using Yahoo ?? You can make a "Category", consisting of selected addresses---those who you always group together when sending certain emails. Then all you have to do is enter the "name" of the category on the address line (to-cc-or bcc), and Yahoo sends the email to everyone you have listed in that particular category. >Click on "Contacts" to open your contact list in the bottom left. >Check IN each box, in front the people you want in this category. >Then in the menu (on the right side screen), click "add to category", and in that menu click on [new]. >A name box opens, where you need to type in a name for this category. >Then click "done". You have just created a Category. You can add to or delete from it, at any time in the future. ............... You can find your categories by clicking on the down arrow next to "view" (just above the contact list). At the bottom of that menu, your categories are listed by name. Click on one of the names to view the entries (which appears in the list area). To return to the regular contact list---just click the down arrow again and click on "all contacts".

How do I send distribution lists created using Microsoft Outlook 2003 to a colleague?
To send a distribution list, 1. create a temp folder in contacts folder, in the contacts folder, right click on the dark gray bar just above the contact listings, new folder..., click contacts, give it a name in the 1st box, say temp 2. move all the contacts to the temp folder, go to outlook menu, file, import and export, "export to a file", next, "personal folder file(pst)", next, select only contacts and make sure subfolder is not checked, next, click browse button, give the pst file a name click ok, click finish, click ok 3. give the pst file to intended user, the user has to import the file, go to outlook menu, file, import and export, "import from another program or file", next, "personal folder file(pst)", click browse to locate the pst file, next, select only contacts, click finish 4. to move all the contacts back to where it was, click on the word contacts on the dark gray bar, a folder tree will come up, click contacts, then click temp, ctrl+a to select all, click and drag the list to the contacts icon on outlook shortcuts bar, release click. 5. to delete temp folder in contacts, go to temp folder using method in 4. right click on dark gray bar, delete "temp", then you're done Hope this helps

Yahoo limits the BCC line to 50 addresses or less (depending on the size of the message). With Yahoo you are required to have at least one address on the TO line----so----common practice is to put your own address there, and that's all anyone will see.

yes...in yahoo mail - you can create a "Group" name the group and select which email addresses will be in that group. each time you email and select that group---everybody in that group will get your email. good luck :)
