How to share wired internet connection via cables only( no WiFi or network) to my neighbour's house?

To do it right, it's going to be expensive.

You should never run copper wire between two buildings unless the connections can be electrically isolated. Reason, voltage = difference of potential. What is 100V at your house could be 150V at his house relative to the ground point at your house. Because Ethernet ports do not provide electrical isolation, the router on one side is going to try and send that extra 50V to the other side to try and equal out the potential. That = fried routers on both sides if not a fire in both houses.

You say what about telephones? Telephones don't actually use house voltage to work. The voltage used for the actual "communication" part of a telephone comes from the switch at the telecom company head end, means no difference in potential.

The second reason running copper wire between the two houses is a bad idea is lightening. That copper wire, which is grounded by the Ethernet gear on each end, will function as a lightning rod, even if you bury it in plastic conduit.

The proper way to do what you want to do is run fiber optic cable between your two homes. This wouldn't be any harder than running copper wire, just more expensive. First you need "networking kit" that can support something called a Small Form factor Pluggable (SFP) on each side. For that you could look for used Ethernet switches from a company like Cisco, HP, Nortel/Avaya, Enterasys on Ebay. You only need a 100Mbps, so you don't need the latest and greatest switches (state of the art is 10Gbps or more over SFP). You put one switch on each side, run the fiber between them. You will need to order a length of fiber with the proper terminations factory installed, loads of places on the Internet that sell that.

Plug the Internet connection into your router. Your router connects to the switch on your side. The devices on your side plug into your switch. The SFP on your switch connects to your neighbors switches SFP, then his devices connect to the switch. Your neighbor doesn't need a router.

The good thing is, with fiber you can run it almost any distance you want. Fiber with the correct SFP can carry a signal over 70KM.

I found an app on my iPod Touch that I would like to use, but you need to connect the camera to a computer via WiFi for it to work. I didn't think you could do this with the D40x but in the description of the app it said that it works with this camera. Does anyone know?

How Can I Share my Broadband Internet Connection (CDMA) With Another Computer Without Using Hub Swith\Router?

You'll need network cards in both computers and a Ethernet crossover cable.

Network the two computers via the crossover cable and set up ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).
