my messenger has changed, no toolbar on top no way to minamize it or anything like that and when i sign in it closes cause it says i am already signed into another yahoo messenger, witch i am not, i only have 1 computer, and i can not get a real answer on who i had put down for my childhood hreo, and i do not what to play a game to find out, so please help me, and can i delete the yahoo 8 that is still on here, since i downloaded to 9? thank you
Why my messenger keep signing off continuosly?
You are not doing anything wrong. This Error message is telling people that they are logged-in on another computer even tho it is not true. Everyone knows that they are not logged-in on another computer. You can not fix it. This happened for 3 weeks during the July 2008 update. Yahoo is doing another update today. The problem lasted for 3 weeks in 2008. Then suddenly it worked.

HEY GUYS, I THINK I'VE FIXED THE PROBLEM? sign in to your mail acct. from ANOTHER comp.. i also went into messenger options, & blocked the person that sent this 'message'. i then, clicked the 1st tab in that same section. this will only allow friends from your contact list to message you.. oh yeah, i also cleaned my cache/ cookies/ history right b4 logging out. this has stopped the flashing tab, while removing the message alert. i hope i've fixed this issue permanently? good luck! :)
How do you delete contact lists in the new yahoo mail?
Try this---maybe (hopefully) it will work the same in the newest Yahoo mail. Click on Contacts to open the contact list. Then click the down arrow next to "view all contacts". At the very bottom of that drop down list, your categories (lists) will be listed by name. Click on the one you want to delete, and when it opens----look to the "far" right (top corner), and click on "delete this category".
