How Do I Steal Christmas

How did the Grinch steal Christmas?

The Grinch, a fictional, bitter, cave-dwelling, green, catlike creature with a heart "two sizes too small," lives on snowy Mount Crumpit, a steep, 3,000-foot (910 m) high mountain just north of Whoville, home of the merry and warm-hearted Whos. His only companion is his faithful dog, Max. From his perch high atop Mount Crumpit, the Grinch can hear the noisy Christmas festivities that take place in Whoville. Envious of the Whos' happiness, he makes plans to descend on the town and, by means of burglary, deprive them of their Christmas presents, holiday ham and decorations and thus "prevent Christmas from coming". However, he learns in the end that despite his success in stealing all the Christmas presents and decorations from the Whos, Christmas comes just the same. He then realizes that Christmas is more than just gifts and presents. His heart grows three sizes larger, he returns all the presents and trimmings, and is warmly welcomed into the community of the Whos.

Why are Pagans trying to steal Christmas from Christians?

They aren’t. Pagans are not “demons” they are people who do not believe in Christianity. Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, Pagans celebrate the birth of the New Sun(on December 21. Christians have a Christmas Tree (created by Martin Luther outdoors to celebrate Christ as Light of the World. Pagans take that same tree as Evergreen and the Holly King who gives way to the Oak King. Many Christians insist on taking St Nicolas (an actual real live bishop of Myra who gave gifts to the poor for Christmas and rather than celebrate his Day on December 6, take a legend of St. Nicolas as seen through Norse eyes with a sleigh and eight reindeer somehow connected to good will in general and not Christ in particular. Christians and Pagans have been in each other’s pockets since the first century.
