How Do I Stop Drinking Every Night And Still Be Able To Sleep

I am drinking every night. It makes me sleep easily. Am I becoming an alcoholic?

I know someone who did this. First it was just one drink at night. Then it was a sip if she woke up in the middle of the night because she couldn’t sleep. Or maybe more sips, because she was sleepy and didn’t know how much she was really drinking. Then it was a little snort before taking a nap.It escalated to the point where I was called to her home because she was nearly unresponsive. She claimed that she had slept all day, but was still very tired. I had no idea about the drinking and thought it was a stroke, so I took her to the hospital. Her blood alcohol level was 3x the legal limit, yet she only remembered taking one small drink. She was in a blackout most of the day, talking to people and doing things, with no memory of any of it.I’m not saying that this will happen to you, but if you’re drinking alcohol because you think it’s good for you, it could be a problem down the road as it becomes more and more of a habit, and then a requirement. It’s a much better idea to figure out why you’re not sleeping well. Is it stress related? A bad pillow? A physical problem? If you figure out the problem and solve it, you’re much better off.

How do you go to sleep after drinking a Monster?

I have about 3 Monsters every 2 weeks, and every time I drink them, I can't fall asleep. It doesn't matter how slow I drink them, and how early after school, but I just can't find it possible to go to sleep that night. Is there any way (NO TEA) that I can help myself fall asleep and negate the effect of the caffeine without regurgitating it?

Does drinking six pints of beer every night make me an alcoholic?

No I don’t think it means that your an alcoholic. It means you have the ability to drink six beers every night, where as some people don’t.Now before you go all getting proud of yourself. Do you have the ability to not drink six beers every night? If you don’t have that ability that many people do and you need to drink 6 beers every night or you’ll go haywire. Then I believe Houston we have a problem.Ironically by drinking 6 beers every night for an extended period of time will make it harder to not drink 6 beers every night. From wikipedia:The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) defines binge drinking as the amount of alcohol leading to a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08, which, for most adults, would be reached by consuming five drinks for men or four for women over a 2-hour period. According to the NIAAA, men may be at risk for alcohol-related problems if their alcohol consumption exceeds 14 standard drinks per week or 4 drinks per day, and women may be at risk if they have more than 7 standard drinks per week or 3 drinks per day. It defines a standard drink as one 12-ounce bottle of beer, one 5-ounce glass of wine, or 1.5 ounces of distilled spirits.[93]Despite this risk, a 2014 report in the National Survey on Drug Use and Health found that only 10% of either "heavy drinkers" or "binge drinkers" defined according to the above criteria also met the criteria for alcohol dependence, while only 1.3% of non-binge drinkers met this criteria. An inference drawn from this study is that evidence-based policy strategies and clinical preventive services may effectively reduce binge drinking without requiring addiction treatment in most cases.[94]So you see not everybody has got what it takes to become alcoholic. Some institutions won’t survive so well without carpet diagnosing everyone with some kind of problem. Therefore by justifying their existence. So I really want to say, slow down drinking so much beer. Let’s put our tax dollars to better use, unless you’ve got $20,000 in your pocket.

How to stop having to pee at night?

Every night I wake up around the same time and have to go to the bathroom. It gets annoying when I have to wake up early for work the next morning as it interrupts my sleep cycle. What can I do other than not drinking before I go to bed.

How can I sleep longer than 3 hours a night.?

i have the same problem, i found that hard manual labor during the day wore me out and now i sleep all night, nor more waking up at 3:30am then getting up at 5:30am for work, now i just sleep till 5:30am and get up with my alarm
also stop drinking a glass of water before bed, eating within 5 or 6 hours before bed, smoking ciggarettes 1 hour before bed. also try meditating yourself to sleep, sometimes it helps you get to the rem stage sooner and it lasts longer

Is it normal to urinate in the night, every night?

Yes this is totally normal in fact most people get up once or twice to go to the toilet , some people have stronger bladder muscles and can hold it longer so they don't get waken up or can wait till morning You can try and avoid going to the toilet by not drinking a lot of fluids an hour or so before bed and then going to the toilet .

Im 15 and i still wet the bed almost every night!!!!?

hey, im not gonna laugh. Guess what- I did to. Swear to f-ing god, had to wear pull-ups till i was in the 8th grade. even pissed my pants in high school, when i fell asleep in study hall. you want to talk about the most embarrasing moment of your life, try topping that.

But then puberty hit. and i stopped drinking beverages at least an hour before bed. Sure, i failed a couple times. But eventually, I beat this horrible affliction that affects hundreds of thousands of kids.

So just have patience, and try to limit your drink intake after dinner. Soon, you can go to bed without worrying, and you will wake up when you have to go.

I truely empathize with you, you will make it through!
