How Do I Stop My Dog From Pooping Blood He Wont Walk Or Even Move

DOG ATE METAL AND POOPING BLOOD?

Why would you even respond for me to take him to the vet when I just said I can't??? He has seizures and I've recently spent thousands at the vet HE IS THE REASON I HAVE NO MONEY so don't act like I don't take care of my dog I have spent every cent I have on him. He's acting fine and his stomach isn't hard or anything. He's running around playing like he's fine. I can't find a vet to do a payment plan. If you're going to respond to these make it something useful.

Why might my dog have blood in his stool?

We just got our little guy about a month ago from a pet adoption at petsmart. He is 7 months old, up to date on all of his shots, fixed, etc. Before we left the lady from the adoption agency told us he may have diarrhea for a couple of days because he just took a deworming pill. We are also thinking he was probably abused because he would not walk for the first hour we had him home and when he did walk he kept his tail between his legs. For about the first week home he had diarrhea and a few times there was blood in his stool. We were very concerned the second time he had blood so we took a stool sample to the vet who said that everything came back normal and he was fine. A couple of days later the bloody stool stopped. (He maybe had 3 more stools with blood in them.) Now he went to the restroom today and two times when he had a bowel movement there was blood in his stool again. I know that humans can have blood due to stress, and I have read some of the info on the internet that says dogs can have blood in their stool from stress too. I do plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow to see what could be going on but I'm still up in the middle of the night right now worried about my little guy. He is so precious and I don't want to lose him. Why is this happening? Kind answers and real advice only!

Help my pregnant cat is pooping blood!!!?

A stray cat came to my door a month ago and she was pregnant I don't know how pregnannt she is but she is very big. She always walks outside and poops in the woods so I never have seen her poop before so I don't knowif its normal or not but this morning she started arranging some towels and then she squated and pooped very loose poop with blood in it what should I do?

Picking up dog poop makes me vomit. What can I do to stop it from grossing me out?

Try using Vicks, Tiger Balm or some other strong smelling stuff & rub it on your upper lip right under your nose.

You can breath through your mouth instead of your nose. That will lessen the smell. I was told this by a friend who works for Animal Control, who picked up road kills & took dog bodies to the County Dump.

If you don't already have one, get a pooper scooper. You don't even have to touch it & it is a long ways from your nose down to the ground.

Poop stuck in my dog's butt!!!?

Help him out. Put on a rubber glove or plastic bag, and see if you can get a hold of it and (gently) pull it out. If you find you have to use force, then don't. My dog is a real garbage guts, and every so often I have to help him when a plastic bag or something gets stuck (before anyone berates me, he's a lab, and he's on 4 different drugs, each of which on their own causes polyphagia... its definitely a challenge to keep things away from him).

My dog (10 months) has picked two spots in the house where he always poops. How do I get him to stop pooping there?

There really isn’t a lot you can do if you don’t catch him in the act. Dragging him over the the spot, putting his face in it, and yelling at him isn’t going to work with a lot of dogs. Many dogs simply don’t connect the pooping some time ago with the scolding they are currently getting. The best way to house train a dog is 2 fold.Don’t let him poop there.Don’t leave him let leave your side when you are home. Attach him to a leash, and attach the leash to you. If he starts to go some where correct him verbally and take him to a place he is allowed to go.When you are gone confine him in an area he sleeps in like a crate or a small room. Make it a nice den for him as a dog won’t want to poop where it sleeps. Of course if you are gone more than 8 hours it might be a bit much for him to hold it. If you have a doggy door try barricading him the room with the door.Give him lots of opportunities to go outside. When you wake up walk him. Before you leave for work walk him. When you get home walk him. Before you go to bed walk him. It doesn’t need to be a long walk just long enough for him to do his business outside and get in the habit of doing it. Be sure to mildly praise him when he goes outside.

My dog can't poop and I can't afford the vet. What are my options?

I saw him eating a bone a couples days ago and he likes to retrieve animals.
He is 9 years old. He is walking hunched over and acts like he is trying to poop but nothing happens. He is also leaking diarrhea. There isn't any blood and he isn't vomiting. But I also haven't seen him eat or drink since yesterday. He still jumps up to run and bark at cars coming up the driveway. But doesn't want to do much else. I can't afford an emergency vet trip. Do you think it can wait till tomorrow? Is there anything I can do to help pass the poop?

My dog is bleeding pure blood from his rectum and lost his apetite but will still drink water occasionally?

Doesn't sound good - may be parvo. Parvo" is a virus that attacks the lining of the digestive system. It causes dogs and puppies to not be able to absorb nutrients or liquids. Puppies are especially prone to it because they have an immature immune system. When dogs and puppies contract parvo, they often have diarrhea, vomiting and lethargy. Usually they stop eating and develop a bloody, foul-smelling, liquid stool.

Symptoms usually begin with a high fever, lethargy, depression, and loss of appetite. Secondary symptoms appear as severe gastrointestinal distress, such as vomiting and bloody diarrhea. In many cases, dehydration, shock, and death follow.

Parvovirus is characterized by severe, bloody diarrhea and vomiting, high fever and lethargy. The diarrhea is particularly foul smelling and is sometimes yellow in color. Parvo can also attack a dog's heart causing congestive heart failure. This complication can occur months or years after an apparent recovery from the intestinal form of the disease. Puppies who survive parvo infection usually remain somewhat un-healthy and weak for life.
