How do you get your dad to stop hating you?
Making the assumption that you are a normal teenager, your dad is way out of line and it is not your responsibility to fix the relationship. Get some help - plenty of it out there. Church, school, trusted adult. Get someone you can talk to. In all reality, this is mental abuse and there are laws against it. On the other hand, if you are doing everything you can to antagonize your dad - well, he's still wrong, but you need to make changes in your behavior before your dad will.
My parents hate me because I'm a gamer?
This is kinda funny, but I'm going to be 17 now in December and first time I started playing video games when I was 4, I got my first console than and I was playing Super Mario Bros all the time. As I grew older and we got our first PC I started getting more serious and started playing more, than 5 years ago I started playing online with friends and stuff all the way to today. Now I play 3 games, World of Warcraft, League of Legends and Combat Arms. 3 Different Games just so I wouldn't lose my skill in either mmorpg,mmofps and moba games. Now, the issue I'm having is that, my parents were trying so hard all these years to get me away from video games, not understanding how much I love video games. They always try to give me some hard chores and wait for me to not finish one of them once in a year, so they'd have a reason to punish me, and that was not playing any video games for a life time. When I was 12 they sent me numerous times to the Psychiatrist because of this, probably to "find answers" and "fix" my life. And the funny thing is, that until they sent me to the Psychiatrist, I could only play like 1-2 hours a day and after, they told me I could play how much I wanted to, I guess the Psychiatrist told them to let me play or something, i don't know. The thing is, they give me 1000 chores a day and I finish them all, and whenever they tell me to do something I do it, last time I had 1 hour sleep but my dad needed help at work and I went with him without telling a word, but when I come home, they complain about me ALL THE TIME! Like seriously, my brother doesn't do 1 chores, he just sleeps and watches the TV and they don't tell a word about it, but when I play video games, it's the end of the world. Check this out, I got drunk 3 days in a row, so drunk I couldn't even move, and they didn't say a single word about it, not a single word. The next day I played video games all night, and they lost their mind totally... So, how could I tell them that I'm getting enough of complaining, and how could I ask them to stop complaining so much for no reason or something???? PS: I even went to school for programming (computers), they lost their mind again there.

Nature is what it is and sometimes, it can be rather ugly. Human nature is no different in many respects because people choose who they become, and who or what they hate.If you have given them reason to hate you, then it is incumbent upon you to make some form of reparation; particularly if you care about the toxic nature of hatred and wish to reverse the harm done to your parents which led to their hatred of you.If you've done nothing to inspire that hatred, then you must accept it as a natural consequence of their own being and their own choices.Before you make any decision however, it is incumbent upon you to objectively assess both conditions to arrive at the most accurately objective conclusion possible, even if it means deep soul-searching and an acceptance of something which may be ugly within yourself.Perhaps you need to change to accommodate their perspectives in order to repair the damage you did or you need to learn to allow them the opportunity to reflect upon the damage they have done to you and hope they reach a conclusion which allows an opportunity for the restoration of a healthy familial relationship.In either case, good luck to you because you will carry your burden for life.
I always have scary dreams about my parents hating me. What do they mean?
It just means that you deeply care for your parents' acceptance in life. Most people with supportive parents do feel that way in life. It is normal. You will feel bad for a while, because you have disappointed them. But trust me, if you don't break their rules from now on they will forget about it soon and things will go back to normal. I have stolen my parents' money, crashed their cars, sold and consumed drugs, etc. in the past but my parents still love me. Once I got my crap back together and started being a good person they learned to trust and respect me again. If they love you, which all parents do, you have nothing to worry about.
Why do my parents hate me and prefer my sister?!?
My mum and dad both hate me. They always choose my sisters side and always find a way to tell me off. I try to be kind and do well but i think i have anger issues, my sister uses it against me and makes me angery so that the hate builds up inside i do try and stop and take a breath but they just continue hating me! I have asked my mum why she hates me and all she says is i dont hate you, you are just annoying... My mum always invites my sister to do things like go shopping or to have lunch.. Why???
