How Do I Talk To A Really Quiet Guy

How do you talk to a really quiet, mysterious guy?

Guys like to talk about themselves. All people do. One of the easiest ways to get to know a boy is to ask him questions. You could ask “What did you think of that test this morning?” or ask about some sport he’s interested in. Don’t ask questions that could be answered by yes or no cause then the conversation is over. Music, TV shows and movies are also good topics. Laughter is contagious. A wise man once said, “Laughter is the best medicine,” and he was right. When you’re happy and laughing, it’s contagious, so don’t be afraid of showing off your sense of humor. If making people laugh is not one of your strengths, search the Internet for jokes or fun anecdotes that you can bring up in conversation. No one likes a chatter box. When we’re nervous we all tend to ramble on but overpowering a conversation and forgetting to ask questions doesn’t show a person you’re interested in hearing about them. Look for clues. Get interested in his varsity football. If he plays a particular video game, ask about his highest score. These types of questions will definitely instigate a conversation. Flirting is a great way to show someone you’re interested in getting to know them better. It’s harmless and fun. Make eye contact. Offer him a smile. You’ll be surprised how you’ll naturally figure it out!

How do i talk to this really quiet guy?

Hot and shy? That's just my type. I can get a lot out of those quiet mysterious guys. I do have to keep in mind I'm not aware of what subject this class is because that can be an excellent topic starter, talking about your environment.

Let's say it's an Art class, topics about art are quite simple, you casually make a comment about how well he does something and ask if you think he can help you on an artwork of yours, then bam, you're headed off to a wonderful start in the conversation.

I can't stress how casually you should come to him especially since he's shy, remember to always note the tone in your voice and your stance when you do one of two things to start the conversation, comment and question. Nothing too complicated where he's boggled at why in the world you chose HIM of all people to talk to.

Besides, honesty is nice like, "I noticed you're kind of quiet in class and I thought why not come over here and get to know you, I couldn't resist I thought maybe there's more to you than just the silence."

Confident and casual.

send him an email or fb message and just be honest and say something like "hi bishop, i'm so happy i got to meet and talk and share a class with you. i would really like to hang out again, i had no way of contacting you so sent you this message. what are your plans for this weekend? my number is XXX-XXXX.

-Sam.

it sounds like he really likes you but didnt think of asking for your number. usually girls just give us guys' their number if they are interested. he MIGHT have a gf already but probably not. just ask to hang out.

good luck! you will be fine. im sure.

You can’t change who you are, but you can work on things you don’t like about yourself. Any change should be from you, not just to appease someone. You never pretend. Just be yourself. There’s nothing bad or wrong with being quiet. Talk when you have something to say, not just to impress someone. Just do you! Socialize when your ready. The ones that love and accept you matter!

I don't want to be the quiet guy in school and how do I talk more?

Ease your way into it. Start with talking during class related to the lesson/class. Ask questions or answer one. Make it a goal to ask one question or answer one out loud (for the whole class to hear) for every class in a week. It is important that everyone hears you. Even if you answer something wrong it doesn't matter. As long as everyone hears you. Then the next week make it two for every class that week. Keep going from there. The point is, let the whole class get used to hearing your voice. People that might've been intimidated by you're "quiet nature" or "someone who only talks to his own friends" will be more comfortable speaking with you.

As long as you're engaging in the academics you won't look so much like a social tryhard as you're worried about. Then slowly ease your way to more 'social' talking. You can use the same method if you want.

How do i deal with an extremely quiet guy friend?

i've been close friends w/him for a year...you'd think he'd talk more by now! sometimes he just stares at me blankly so i get flustered and feel pressured to talk. he also appears distant and uncaring sometimes, even though i know by now he's not. i still wanna remain good friends with him, but he's really frustrating me. what should i do?

How do i talk to a quiet guy that doesnt talk to girls very much?

don't push it. start out with small things like commenting on a band t, or a random thing someone said to you. if he starts to get comfortable around you, then you can get into some more in-depth conversations and start hanging out. if he's really shy tho and he doesn't seem to respond to your attempts at friendship, he either doesn't like you or doesn't feel comfortable around you yet. either way, the best thing you can do is start slow and work you way up to bigger and better things.

If you’re really cute, there’s a small chance. But it’s unlikely.Girls are no different than guys in this respect. If someone is completely antisocial, giving off every indication that they don’t want to talk to anyone, then that discourages anyone from wanting to talk to them.A girl is just as likely to want to talk to such a guy as another guy is. At most, it will be the nice, but confident, one who thinks “Maybe he’s new. I should say hello.” It won’t be because she’s suddenly, magically in love and coming to pull said guy out of his shell. Not to say that can’t happen, but the odds are very much not in your favor. All people, guys and girls, need to be comfortable with themselves before they can expect anyone else to be comfortable with them. If you aren’t comfortable enough to talk to anyone else, then why would they think to talk to you? Indeed, many will actively avoid talking to such a person because such a person is sending every message that they aren’t welcome.Boys and girls, men and women, even cats and dogs, can all be shy. But there’s a difference between the stammering clumsy introduction of a shy person who wants to reach out and isn’t comfortable, and the sullen obstinance of a person who refuses to talk to anyone at all.And that’s not even considering things like autism.

Help: How do I get a quiet guy to like me?

I liked your story actually. Though it was very cute. There's no good advice someone can really give you in situations like this. The way you talk about Apollo it sounds like he is quite the insecure guy given that he stutters so the best thing you can do is make it obvious to him that it doesn't phase/bother you. He isn't going to make the first move so it's best you take charge otherwise in a few months or years your going to regret and wonder "what if" at least you know if his into you or not without waisting anyone's time. Get to know him and get comfortable around him and try
To make him feel the same about you. You've already made a good start and tomorrow night will really help you find out if he feels the same way about you or if he wants to pursue a possible relationship by getting to know you better. If he still seems to rush through the night and continue to give you short sentences then you've got your answer. A huge green light is if he makes effort to ask you questions about yourself and not JUST on the history topic. Good luck and I hope it is a start of something great if not "brush yourself off and try again" his loss not yours girl!

How do I talk to a shy, quiet guy? (please answer!)?

Try doing other things, for example if he is not in any of your classes, try asking his phone number so you can text him and i know if he likes you, as time goes by , he will ask you out. And if he is in your lunch try to flirt, that does help too.

Good luck
