I understand where you are coming from. it's fustrating to know that you need a new phone to work. is the pin number for the voicemail? Or to lock the phone? a PUK number is a security code. if you have entered your pin number in wrong a few times then the PUK locks your phone. Just give your network provider a call and request a PUK number. that should unblock it. just call your service provider. hope i helped.

You can not use a Tracfone, Safelink, Net10, or Straight Talk sim card in a different phone than it was activated with. The sim card is "locked" to the phone that it was activated with. The unlock sim feature may be on your phone. But if you use this feature it will disable your sim card. Some people have bought new Tracfone and transferred the service from one Tracfone to another Tracfone. But you have to call Safelink and have them transfer the service and phone number for you. You can not just switch sim cards and have the old sim card work in the new phone.
