How Do I View Only My Paid Apps On My Ipad

I have bought a book in the iBook app on my iPad. Can I view it on Android phone?

Is it published through Apple 's ebook platform? Then maybe not. But there is an android app to share music you bought from iTunes on your android devices. I have Samsung and my iTunes music is on here. If it is published through Kindle and just distributed (also) through  the Apple store (Smashwords does this. My Kindle pubs are in iBook store) then you can download the Kindle  app and read it. I am pretty sure you can download Kindle app to any device. All this info is available from Kindle or Apple or Smashwords. I am not an expert. I only speak from personal experience .

Can my school view my iPad outside of school?

I'm confused.

Did you buy the iPad, or your school?

If they don't own it, it's yours and you purchased it, you have every right to do whatever you want on it, and if they are monitoring what goes on on the iPad itself (not the requests to the school's network) that is actually illegal and an invasion of privacy.

Also, if they use the iPad's internal cameras to view inside your house, they can also be taken to court and pressed charges. There was a huge issue about this in my area few years ago when a kid borrowed a laptop from school and they were viewing the inside of a kids home from the laptop. The kid's family got a very large amount of money.

Why when I download an app on my iPad they download on my iPhone too?

Most apps for iPhone are "universal apps" meaning they work on both iPhone and iPad and you only have to pay once. You can set up your device so that purchases on one device get automatically downloaded to your other devices. You can control this in Settings/iTunes and App Stores/Automatic Downloads.

Why can't I download OSX apps to my iPad or iPhone?

Having the ability to purchase Mac Apps from an iPhone (just for the sake of transferring it later to a Mac) also adds the risk of non-Mac owners to accidentally buy apps that they cannot use. This adds support burden to Apple when later these people ask for a refund (and maybe incur some financial loss as well since they may have to pay for credit card chargebacks). Furthermore it is yet another risk for a class action lawsuit of allowing such purchases to happen. This is also the reason why you can't purchase iPad-only (non-Universal) apps on an iPhone or iPod touch.

Android tablet vs. Ipad?

Ryan, the difference between an iPad and and android tablet is the cost and the operating system. Android works on the android OS and a little less user friendly than the iPad, but that shouldn't be a deal breaker since that unless you are doing some heavy computing most of the stuff you would do on a tablet is pretty easy to figure out. also since there are plenty of android users out there it is easier to get user friendly apps and OS.

As for apps, apple has strict requirements if you want to submit it to the itunes store while android is open and almost anyone can submit apps. As a result you will see alot of android apps out there and need to check the reviews a little closer to make sure it is want you want.

As for costs, you can get a fun and usefull android system for around 200- 300 hundred dollars as opposed to an iPad for 700. as the new android come out they can get pricey and if you want them then you should look at the iPad but if you want a nice, inexpensive tablet than an android tablet is fine.
