How to get rid of the waves in my hair?
You COULD go to the salon and have it chemically straightened, it's permanent until your hair grows out. But I warn you, it's pricey to keep doing it. OR you could invest in a good pair of hair straighteners and straighten out the waves. But this IS damaging for your hair in the long run so remember to use a good hair thermal protector product. But I guess because you are a guy, you may be reluctant to do this? Why not try washing your with a straightening shampoo and conditioner, then use a straightening serum before you blow dry your hair. My brother has wavy hair too so he just uses my hair straighteners after washing his hair to keep it looking good.

How do black men get those waves in their hair?
My nephew switches his hairstyle alot from the "Afro" to the "Caeser" haircut. But I've noticed that when he gets his hair cut back down to a Caeser, he starts his waves by putting some Black Magic Hair Pomade for men (you can purchase it at Wal-Mart, Sally's, or Rite-Aid) in his hair and then he buys a du-rag and wears that on his head all the time (the only time he takes it off is when he's going somewhere). He brushes it alot with a boar bristle brush and it's just like the waves appear. The Black Hair Pomade has shea butter in it and it helps to leave the hair soft and shiny. When you develop your waves, make sure that your barber cuts your hair following the pattern of the waves or he'll mess it up. I hope this helps you, playa, and good luck.....:-)

How can I get my hair curly as a guy?
Get a permanent wave done……collect some pic’s of the type/size of curl you like to show your stylist. We usually do the curl slightly tighter then the desired look because a wave will loosen a little in time. This is permanent & the re growth will grow in as usual. Hair shrinks up in length when curly so it must be long enough to wrap around the rod 3 times so at least a good 3″ of length will be needed.
Coloring hair and getting a wave nouveau?
the wave nouveau sounds like a good idea, but i wouldn't get anything more than a couple highlights or a shade of darker brown with your hair color.
