How Do Neoliberal Utilize The Prisoners Dilemma In Defense Of Their Position On International

Liberalism? Conservative? What do these really mean?

Wow...good job! Pretty much sums it up and yeah...prepare to be attacked with namecalling. I'm sure they are on their way!

Hillary Clinton promises everyone can go to college without paying tuition. How's that going to work out?

It will work out great for her; for the country, less so. As HRC is wont to do, she saved her announcement until her team was able to analyze the public response to what Sanders and co. offered up. The fact that she has since made it a significant peg in her platform would imply that her considerable brain-trust expects it to net her an uptick in votes (likely at Sanders' expense in the primary). That said, meaningful implementation (assuming her eventual Presidency) is going to prove difficult. I'd go so far as to suggest that it will intensify more problems than it solves. Both houses of Congress are still Republican, and are likely to remain so beyond 2016. I can't envision a scenario in which they'll let such a bill through without either gutting it or extracting significant concessions that would counter any remaining effects. In the same vein, Republicans will still control most State-level political machinery. Considering how many of those actors refused free Medicare-expansion subsidies on principle, don't expect them to cooperate even if a bill does materialize.Higher Education in the US is going through a massive crisis presently. Pouring more money into the old system is, as the ancients would say, as wise as pouring new wine into old skins. If they're trying to stimulate the economy via education, they need to abandon the old paradigm, not prop it up. The real problem to be solved isn't so much the affordability of college as it is the alignment between what the schools are producing and what the market really needs. A well-chosen STEM degree or diploma is as likely to pay off for itself today as it ever was. Those who can't pay back their loans now are (generally) those who can't find meaningful employment with the education they received. Producing more such persons at public expense is about as useful in economic terms as giving them temporary welfare (all intangible benefits aside). HRC's plan very well might be a contributing factor to her returning to the White House -- though it is much less likely to help the US return to the top of the GDP rankings. It's a calculated promise intended to deliver an office, not a real change.
