How Do Psychopaths First Figure People Out

Are there any psychopaths or narcissists who figure out how to stop themselves from getting bored with someone or stretch out that first bit where they're fun?

Any psychopaths or narcissists figure out how to stop yourself from getting bored with someone or stretch out that first bit where they're fun?A2ANot in any responsible way at all, no. The only way I’ve found is to befriend another antisocial individual. If I find someone who’s down to do whatever messed up things that I want to do, then it won’t get boring. At least, not as fast. This has happened a few times for me, and it has always resulted in a lot of things burning down, being broken into, or getting stolen. It really just escalated my own behavior, but that’s probably what made it fun. I’ve yet to meet a “normal” person who doesn’t bore me after some time.I’m afraid I can’t really help with this.

Are Vulcans From Star Trek Psychopaths?

They do have emotions though, they just keep them under control because their society found a better way.

What do psychopaths do when they are found out?

This has never happened to me. The only people that know are those that I trust, have earned that trust, and that I choose to tell.Being found out would mean getting sloppy. I make it a point to never do so. If someone ever thought they figured me out, I suppose it would depend on the situation. If they were close to me and they somehow figured out what I planned to tell them in the first place, then whatever. So long as they are reasonable and want to learn about it and are open, I wouldn’t care.If it was detrimental that this person found out, and they intended to use it against me somehow, I would preemptively strike and make them out to be vindictive and out to get me. Technically they are planning to behave in a vindictive way, so this should probably be expected.Either I wouldn’t care, or I would find a way to dance around it. I don’t plan on getting so sloppy anytime soon, so it’s sort of a non-factor.

Can a person become a psychopath?

That is a difficult question to answer. "Psychopathy" (as measured by Hare's Psychopathy Checklist-Revised, for example) is a complex set of behaviours, which are not easy to all trace back to either a specific genetic or environmental cause. You are basically asking if any 'normal' baby could end up being diagnosed as psychopathic if exposed to the right environmental stimuli at the right times. My guess is yes. But it's just a guess, and it will take decades or even hundreds of years before there is a sufficient answer to that question.

Why are their so many psychopaths in the military?

FIRST..... Not sure your perception is accurate. We often see what we are looking for and expect to see. Anecdotal evidence is not good science.

SECOND.... While there is a possibility that service volunteers in a volunteer military will have a tendency to have a similar psychology the label "psychopath" is way too strong..... they do have a tendency to be anal retentive and conservative ..... especially lifers.....but even that is not true of everyone. Lifers stay because they like what they find. The structure and discipline give them a sense of control that is missing in civilian life.

THIRD After 30 years of military service I find that generally speaking those people in the service are a reflection of American society...... a little more educated due to the higher standards required to join..... a little more conservative ...... but generally a mirror image of society.....while the media highlights domestic violence..... if you examine the data you will find it consistent with other high stress professions..... there is less drug use than civilian life by necessity / random testing......

FINALLY Your "evidence" is a bit weak and not really "cause and effect".....The military is the action arm of our nations foreign policy.... Foreign policy is determined by civilians ...... the military itself has little input .... very few combat troops will survive without "scars" both outside and inside.....but that is true of firemen.....and policemen.....of even doctors and nurses..... my wife has PTSD and she never served one day in the military.....she has night terrors just like a combat vet.....

Living leaves scars.... stress kills

While we may agree that our nations military policy....foreign policy is F*CKED-UP...... military personnel have nothing to do with it any more than a policeman has control of the F*CKED-UP environment he is in

You were five years in recruiting...... I spent almost all of my career in the front line....82 d Airborne.....101 st Airborne......Special Forces..... went to two wars...... not in an office but in the mud and the blood.....I think my perception is a bit different than yours
