POLL: The boy in the striped pajamas..?

We watched it in english at school, and the whole class cried at the end. It's ok, the end is the best though.

Should i spank my 13 years old boy in footed pajamas, or how do i spank him bare/not ?

Like menykats said, how many slap/times do I need to spank him. I think it doesn't effect my son through pajamas. and why do we have to spank it at upper thigh like menykats said.

Where can I get the link to The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne?

PDF : The Boy in the Striped Pajamas“Powerful and unsettling. . . . As memorable an introduction to the subject as The Diary of Anne Frank.” —USA Today Berlin, 1942: When Bruno returns home from school one day, he discovers that his belongings are being packed in crates. His father has received a promotion and the family must move to a new house far, far away, where there is no one to play with and nothing to do. A tall fence stretches as far as the eye can see and cuts him off from the strange people in the distance. But Bruno longs to be an explorer and decides that there must be more to this desolate new place than meets the eye. While exploring his new environment, he meets another boy whose life and circumstances are very different from his own, and their meeting results in a friendship that has devastating consequences.

Should a teenage boy sleep in pajamas, just boxers, or nothing?

A teenage boy - or anyone old enough to make that decision for themselves for that matter - should be allowed to sleep however they so choose, as it is their comfort. The one exception I would insist upon - this rule is only applicable if they are sleeping in their own room. If they share a room, then they must wear something to bed at least. And if they’re at someone else’s home then, for propriaty’s sake, pajamas are a must.

3.How does gretel explain the fence and its significance?

How many of you have watched the Boy in Striped Pajamas? I was amazed and stunned at the same time. What are your thoughts on the movie?

I think of all the historical events which have been documented, researched or adapted into a motion picture, Holocaust stands out as the first and foremost among st all.And among st all Holocaust movies The boys in the striped Pajamas is a unique pick.Why?-Most of the Holocaust movies have a military combat plot. There are only few movies which have a simple plot yet which etched a deep impression on your consciousness. TBISP is one such movie which makes one ponder about the different shades of a human psychology. It shows how one can be a doting, protective father loving his children unconditionally whereas the same person is not hesitant on killing children of the same age as his kids just because they don't confirm to a particular faith? It makes us question ourselves that the prejudices and inhibitions that we as humans have drawn up based on the communal, racial and religious grounds towards each other are baseless. The friendship that grew between a Jewish kid and the German commander's son makes us realize that how simple things can be for kids , they are not biased ,they don't have any pre-conceived notions they are pure hear ted. A very heart-warming tale of human compassion and savagery beautifully told.

The Boy in striped Pajamas historical accuracy.?

There was some historical accuracy (as there was a real concentration camp called Auschwitz). However, it would have been impossible for Schmuel to have lived there as they usually gassed or killed those who were not old enough to work. Also, the camp was surrounded by an electric fence. Therefore, Bruno would not have been able to crawl under it without being electrocuted.
