How Do You Add Your Profile Pic In The Corner Of Your Youtube Video Like Everyone Is Doing Lately

How do I start making YouTube videos? What equipment is required?

I really dislike phones as primary video capture devices.  They have limited storage, poor optics with no image stabilization, and terrible audio.  On their plus side they're convenient, nearly everyone has a video capable phone these days making them ubiquitous, and most of the new ones have good sensors.  To make a phone a better platform for your YT vids, try these steps:1) Get a Tripod.  This will stabilize your shots, though the one I linked to here looks like garbage, but it's got 4.5 stars, so who knows.2) Get a basic plug in mic, be it a Lavalier Lapel Clip-on or a Shotgun Microphone, and that will improve your sound immensely.  You can get way fancy with mics, but that a discussion for another time.3) Use the back camera, not the front one.  You will wind up looking at your own face and not the lens if you use the front camera.  The lens in your audience, make eye contact with the lens.  Avoid the whole problem by using the better quality camera on the back of the phone.4) Better yet, use a Webcam plugged into your computer and avoid many of the pitfalls of a phone all together.  Then the camera has all the storage of your computer, you don't need to transfer the video or convert it, and you can still use your tripod and microphones.  Avoid using the computer's monitor as a tripod or you'll get stuck looking into your own eyes instead of the webcam's lens.5) Lighting.  Get yourself something to light your face, and don't sit with a window over your shoulder like this:It's perfect if you want to hide your identity, but bad for publicity. Then you just need editing software.  I've answered that question here on Quora too many times to count.  Here's the most recent one.Greg Wyatt's answer to As a Mac user, is Final Cut Pro the best video editing software for YouTube videos or is there other software that works best for this purpose? If I were in your shoes just starting out, I'd try Resolve, Premiere, and Vegas all for free, then pick the one I liked the most and stick with it.  If you don't feel like jumping into a professional program, try the basic ones first: Windows Movie Maker for your Windows computer and iMovie for your Mac.Good luck!

How can I stop feeling so sad because I'm poor?

I am 14 years old, and I will not go around the bare truth, I am poor. And I am so poor, I can't believe I have food on the table (food stamps). But I have been feeling so sad the past few weeks, like a really deep and truly sad sorrow feeling that makes me just want to huddle under my blankets and stay there. It's not so much that I am poor, but it's because I also have horrible luck, I have some of the worst luck imaginable.

For instance, I saved up lot's of money for an airsoft pistol, because I really wanted one, so I did side jobs around my neighborhood and after a while, I bought one at the store. I bought a pretty nice one, it cost me around $80. So I brought it home and opened it, and shot it once, and then my dad came in my room and decided he would play around with me because he's never really home to spend time with me. So he's shooting a target I set up and he accidentally broke it because he dropped it. And I mean, that's only a fraction of the bad luck I have. Usually my bad luck is me accidentally breaking something I own, but can't replace it because it costs too much and would take tons of saving up. I go to a school where there are a lot of rich kids and sometimes I need to ask to go to the bathroom so I can cry, because all these kids have brand name things, and sweet cell phones, and everything else, and I don't. And it makes me realize how much it sucks to go without.

And I also get made fun of at school for being poor. Somewhere along the lines, info was leaked that I was poor to the whole school. So I am frequently referred to as "poorboy" or "rat". And it's really getting to me.

I try to ignore the mean people, but it seems that I am being targeted by something to make my life as miserable as possible.

I mean I am goodhearted, I watch my 3 younger brothers almost every day for a few hours, I do chores in the house without my parents asking, I have manners. It's like what else do I have to do for life to get a bit easier and better for me?

I am getting so sick of this stuff.

No, I don't expect to be rewarded with something all the time, but it would be nice.

How can I make my life a little more happy, when bad things happen to me every single day? I've tried to think positive, but it's at that point where there's almost nothing positive to think about anymore.

Do crosley record players REALLY damage the records?

If you make sure to replace the stylus every 500 hours of play, it probably wouldn't hurt your records. The Crosleys use a conical stylus that isn't so rough on records and the tracking force isn't really excessive for that stylus shape. Although, they don't apply anti-skate like a better turntable and that could cause some mistracking and wear over time...

I still couldn't recommend a Crosley or really any portable record player being sold these days. They all use the exact same turntable mechanism. It's super-cheap and it tends to not even turn at the right speed after a little use. The motors are electronically controlled DC. Speed drift has always been common with this design and there should be a pitch control to keep that in check. No pitch control on most of today's tables that use that design and many complaints about speed accuracy as a result. The electronics are also junk, the units sound poor and complaints about extremely short service life are far too common.

If you want to get into vinyl, I'd suggest forgetting about the portables and getting something like the Audio Technica direct-drive at the very least. You'd need a receiver to hook it up to and some speakers... or you could use some powered monitors or computer speakers. I've heard the Audio Technica table is now coming with the great sounding AT-95E cartridge installed instead of the heavier tracking cartridge.
