How Do You Ask Questions On Steam

Thermodynamics & Heat Transfer question... Steam efficiency etc..?

A power plant taps steam superheated by geothermal energy to 505 K (the temperature of the hot reservoir) and uses the steam to do work in truning the turbine of an eletric generator. The steam is then converted back into water in a condenser at 323 K (the temperature of the cold reservoir), after which the water is pumped back down into the ground where it is heated again. The output of the generator is 84MW. Calculate:
The maximum efficiency at which this plant can operate.

The minimum amount of rejected heat (in MJ) that must be removed from the condenser every 24 hours.

Would appresiate if you showed working with the answer so i can work though it myself, but just the answer is fine. Cheers :)

Someone asked me to get them $400 worth of Steam cards for their job. Not sure what to do or if it’s even legal. What should I do?

I've never in my whole life heard of a job that requires 400$ spendings on Steam,an app to buy games and some programming tools.are they going to pay you for them?Do you know what that person's job is?how well do you know them?are they working alone as their own boss or are they hired?its pretty likely that they're trying to grind 400$ worth of video games off of your trust.if they're going to pay you then there's probably not any reason to bother as they can purchase the cards themselves.if someone has hired them then they shouldn't need to buy anything themselves and they can ask their boss for anything they need for theirs work.now I assume that you're buying the cards or legally winning them from online giveaways, unless you've illegally obtained them then it should be legal.you should just ask questions such as "by the way what job do you need the cards for?" "Who hired you?are they nice?" Without giving any clues as to why you're asking.

What kind questions are asked in interviews for freshers (Mechanical)?

Over the past 6 years, I have given lot of interviews for jobs, various projects, internships and admission to colleges. I also had the opportunity to be on the other side of the table, interviewing aspirants for various job openings.Apart from the technical knowledge, interviewers look for the attitude of the aspirant and also check if the candidate is a proper fit for the job applied. These 2 factors also get considerable weightage and it is advisable not to focus solely on technical knowledge. Now coming to the question asked, there are some standard set of questions which one should be well versed with. However, the interview can go in any direction depending on the points mentioned in the resume/CV, interests of candidate, background of interviewer ( if the interviewer is from operations background he/she will have a natural tendency to ask questions from his/her area of expertise) and the post/college applied. So here are some standard topics from which questions can be asked and I have personally come across questions from these topics many times  :-Laws of ThermodynamicsDifference b/w Diesel & Petrol Engine ( All the time favourite!! Don't mis on this one)Carnot Cycle/Brayton CycleIron Carbon DiagramConvection/Convection/RadiationHooke's Law & Stress Strain diagram for plastic materialVarious manufacturing processesDifferent types of gears/Gear ratiosStoke's Law/Viscosity-Kinematic & Absolute Viscosity differenceQuestions from final year project and internships.Justification on why you want to join particular organisationHope this helps.Jai Hind.

Question about steam!?

No neither of those 2 used games are Steamworks titles so cannot be activated on Steam even if it turned out both codes were unused.

Assassin's Creed II uses Ubisoft's Uplay - the problem is it also uses a single-use key to tie the game to a single Uplay account. The key included in your used copy will already be activated on somebody's account and the game will be unusable. Once a game is activated on an account it is non-transferable.

Hitman Blood Money being an older title should be usable though since as far as I'm aware it doesn't tie the key to any accounts such as Steam, Origin or Uplay.

As long as you buy Skyrim new and unused then yes it will tie to your Steam account since Skyrim IS a Steamworks title and must be activated on Steam no matter where you buy it from.

The used PC game market is dead these days, my advice would be don't buy used PC games newer than 2009 due to the fact that most are useless because the serials are single-use keys that tie to user accounts and are non-transferable. Older classic games should be ok though.

Never buy a Steamworks title used no matter how old.

1.how much volume would 45.6 g of steam fill at STP? ?

45.6 g H2O / 18.0 g/mol = 2.53 mol

If it were possible for steam to exist at 0 deg C and 1 atm, then it would occupy 22.4 l/mol x 2.53 mol = 56.7 L

At 0 deg C 45.6 g steam would exist as 45.6 mL of water (liquid) or 45.6 / 0.917 g/cm^3 = 49.7 cm^3 of ice. (Liquid water exists in equilibrium with ice at 0 deg C.)

What will happen if I install Steam when Steam has already been installed?

Heya fella,Now a days softwares are so intelligent. If you install an application again without uninstalling the previous one. Then the install manager of the program will ask you to unistall or repair the previous installation. If you are installing and update version of the software, it will auto update the previous installation.Hope i am able to make you understand.

Steam sent me a 5 digit code, and it is asking for 6 digits?

Ok I had the same issue. Its "we didn't read the whole window "error"." Its not the code that is wrong. What it's asking for is naming your computer. At the bottom it say name your computer. It must be a minimum of 6 characters long. Name the computer and it should be fine.
