English 11 CA Choose any two characters studied in this semester and compare them to one another. The characters that you choose may be characters in a story or the narrators of poetry or nonfiction. How are these characters similar? How are they different? How do you think these characters might interact if they had the opportunity? How do you think they would act if suddenly transplanted to the twenty-first century? Be sure to include direct references to the traits of the characters learned through the stories.

What characters that I should choose in SoulWorker (From the 6 characters not 4)?

From the characters I’ve tried, Erwin was easily the worst in my opinion because the gameplay mechanics of Soulworker were meant to be melee and not FPS-style, therefore I rerolled into Jin.Jin is a tank/off-tankHaru is DPS - sorta balanced.Erwin is… uh, visually looks like a ranger but isn’t and therefore playing him is overly annoying.Lily has highest AoE but very low defenseStella is “support” but she still does DPSIris is a tank-DPS

If you had to give the Harry Potter characters each a different Patronus, what would you choose?

Albus would have a goat Patronus like his brother, but his would be a female goat; as another answer indicated, this would allude to him batting for the other side.Lily's Patronus would be a hind, because that is that is the feminine counterpart of a stag, not a doe (does mate with bucks, though I honestly think that JKR was just confused).Hermione's Patronus would be a swan. Yes, really, a swan. Why? An number of reasons: as another answer indicated, the otter just doesn't fit her personality; why not an owl? Because owls symbolize wisdom more than intelligence, and Hermione has more of the latter than the former. So why a swan? Because they symbolize Hermione on two levels: first is that she was (and thought of herself as) the ugly duckling when she was younger, and then blossomed into a beautiful woman; secondly is that swans symbolize loyalty and love and these are things that Hermione thinks are more important than smarts. And on a sidenote, if you ever wondered why Hermione wasn't Sorted into Ravenclaw, that is why.Luna, I like the idea something else mentioned of hers being a platypus; because she is just that odd.Cho would be a mockingbird, to symbolize her lost innocence after the murder of her boyfriend.Snape would not have a Patronus at all; I just don't see him as having any happy enough memories.Harry would be a jackal, because they symbolize loneliness, abandonment, and desolation, and let's face it, that is SO much more fitting of Harry than a stag. The other characters I would not change.

How do authors choose last names for characters in their writing?

I've heard of an author who named his characters after his neighbours. He simply took the tenants' list and used it.Using place-names is also helpful. Oscar Wilde and P. G. Wodehouse did that, which is how we got Lady Bracknell, Mrs Allonby, Lord Emsworth, Beach the butler and so on.I'd guess that usually, though, writers simply think of some fitting name. This is what a page of Charles Dickens's manuscript looked like, when he was trying to find a title for his book and a name for his protagonist (kudos to Oxford University Press):

Can anyone tell the story of Beowulf from a different characters point of view?

Consider Grendel. Grendel probably did not consider Beowulf a hero. Start from that perspective. Have a look at these sites. They should help you with any questions you have about Beowulf.
