If I delete someone's birthday post on my Facebook timeline, will that person get a notification?
Not at all. Facebook doesn't give the damn about the deletion stuff. You have all rights to make yourself comfortable with the things you're putting on it. Just make sure that he doesn't see that before the deletion because he will come to know that the post is intentionally deleted. It's better that you put the things by thinking enough whether to update it or not. Happy Facebooking. :-)

My birthday is coming up, and one of my favorite parts about having a birthday is seeing all the birthday wishes on Facebook! But I'm turning 18, which in my country means I'm allowed to - among others - drink alcohol and smoke. I have done both though, and I know there are pictures of me doing them both out there. My grandparents. parents and generally all my family members are on Facebook, so I was wondering: Is there anyway I can make birthday wishes private between just me and the sender? So that only me and the person who posted the wish on my wall can see, like and comment on it? Or do I HAVE to delete the post and then send them an awkward message about it? Thank you in advance!
Should I wish my ex's mom a happy birthday or is that awkward?
My ex's mother's birthday is on the 21st. I want to wish her a happy birthday over facebook, maybe send her a message or post it on her wall, but I'm afraid that might be awkward. I was only with my ex for 3 months, but 90% of that time I was with his family. I got to really appreciate & care for his family; they were always extremely welcoming & I was very comfortable around them. But I haven't spoken to my ex since we broke up about 2 months ago. We're not exactly on bad terms, we broke up because it was too difficult to balance his freshmen year if college while having a girlfriend. But soon after his ex he's known for about 4 years & hadn't spoken to in around 6 months came back & asked to try dating again, & i was too hurt to try & be friends like he asked. Overall I do miss his family, & I would like to wish his mom a happy birthday. But is that awkward?
