HOW DO I DELETE MULTIPLE E-MAILS AT ONE TIME?
If you want to mass delete mail you have to be using full featured mail. Basic Mail only lets you do a page at a time. Switch to full featured by clicking on the link at the top right of the Basic Mail page and then you can delete as many as you like at one time. Just check the box at the top left of the message list to select all and then hit delete.

Place a check mark to the left of the first email you want to delete, then scroll down to the last email you want to delete. Hold down the shift key, then place a check mark to the left of the last email you want to delete. This should highlight all the emails. Click on the delete. The new mail is on one continuous scrolling page, so you may have a little bit of trouble with it. It's best to just delete a few at a time. You can switch to the basic mail and choose how many per page. That might be easier. Click the gear then click either options or switch to basic mail

All At Once???? The only way is if you switched to "All New Mail". It has a continuous mail page which allows you to delete en mass. Click on "more actions"----then "check all" and then "delete". You can switch back to Classic mail afterward. Otherwise, with Classic, it's page by page. BUT----you can speed it up by changing the "messages per page" to 200 instead of 25. That makes it 8 times faster, with 200 at a time. Mail page>>options (top right)>>scroll to and click on "general preferences". Now, go down to *Folders/Search Results* and change the number in the box----then click a blank space (outside the box), to set the number, (so it won't roll to a different number), while you scroll to the bottom of the page to click "save". Then you can "check all----delete" 200 at a time. G O D bless the U S A

I'd like to delete specific E-mails at the same time without having to check each box individually. I know how to delete a whole page at once. I want to delete several at one time in the order in which they were received. I've tried shift key and mouse key & control key and mouse key at same time which does not do the trick.

How do I delete ALL my emails AT ONCE / AT THE SAME TIME.?
Can anyone please tell me how to delete ALL the email's in my Yahoo mailbox. I've not used my yahoo email since 31/12/1999, (I forgot what my password is, and only recently remembered what it was) and now have over 16000 emails in my inbox that needs to be deleted. I only have access to yahoo's mobile site, and not the pc web site, the version you can access with your desktop browser. (I've only got internet access on my mobile phone!) I've logged a request with yahoo's support/help, and have, up to the time of this posting, only received the info on how to delete multiple (25 at a time) emails using the desktop version of yahoo. So, can anyone out there tell me how to clear my email mailbox? Please.
How to delete multiple emails at one time without having to click in each box?
It use to be that I could click in ONE BOX to the left of an email from one person. Then if I did not want to read or keep any of the emails from that one person which could be 2 to 22 emails I could click in the 1st box then Hold down the Control button and click in the last email from that person and it would HIGHLIGHT all and delete all I had highlighted when I clicked on delete. What happened to that feature?? It seems I have to click on each individual box before it will highlight it. Takes to much time that way, any suggestions, or why I can't do that anymore... I was always in the Email Inbox and had it sorted alphabetically when I did this so if I saw emails I was not interested in I could delete them all with one step..... Help if you can

This is for the Full Featured version. It will work for the Basic version, but only for one page at a time. =======================================... Clicking on the empty box to the left of DELETE above your emails will sometimes only check 50 or 100 at a time If this happens to you instead of all of the emails being checked...see below. If you want to save any of the emails you have to click on the arrow to the left of it to remove it prior to deletion. =======================================... If you want to delete all of your emails OR a segment of your emails. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++... Place a check mark to the left of the first email and then scroll down to the bottom of the emails you want to delete and then hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and then click on the empty box to the left of the last email. This will place a check mark to the left of all of them in between.. Click DELETE when done....If you want to save some click on the check mark to the left of that email to remove the check mark before deleting OR you can just scroll to the bottom of your emails and then click on the empty box to the left of DELETE at the top of your Inbox which also places a check mark to the left of all of your emails. The best thing to do is switch to GMail. It will be awhile before Yahoo get its head into the sunshine.
Put a checkmark in the little box on the left side of the emails you want to delete, all of them, and then hit the word "delete". Like magic, the emails are thrown into your trash folder. If you want to empty trash, on the left side where "Inbox, Sent, Trash" are listed, on the right side of the Trash,,there is a garbage can,,,click on that and it empties your trash folder....
