How do you delete a Hot or Not account?

You could ask them how to close your account by using this link to their contacts page - http://hotornot.com/contacts.phtml

5. Termination of use by you
They say that you can have too much of a good thing… what do I do if I want to “unregister” myself from Hot or Not?

If you have registered on Hot or Not, you can terminate your registration at any time by going to the ‘Settings’ control on Hot or Not when you are logged in and choosing the ‘delete profile’ link. We save your profile information in case you later decide to restore your account. Many users deactivate their accounts for temporary reasons and in doing so expect us to maintain their information until they return to Hot or Not. You will therefore be able to restore your account and your profile in its entirety within 30 days of de-activating it. Once your registration is terminated, we have the right to delete any related Content that you have submitted or uploaded on to Hot or Not. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Content that you have uploaded to Hot or Not, other than your Profile (such as comments or email messages), may still appear on Hot or Not following termination of your registration.

How do I delete my Tracfone account?

I have an account on Tracfone. I had HUGE problems with it. I tried to activate a phone, used a card, then within hours the phone became inactive. I was furious. It also gave me a phone number from a different state (doubled checked all my info, I don't know how they misread my area)
Anyway, I want to delete the account and start over, I got a fresh card and an inactive phone waiting to start working! (three people in our house use Tracfone, and this is the first major problem we had, so don't give me reasons not to use tracfone)
I want a way to delete the account without calling, I hate calling them. It says the phone is partially active and I have to wait for it, but that's a total lie.

How do I disable icloud without deleting files from my MacBook?

Same here. Icloud is great I guess in some countries where internet is very fast. I live in Indonesia and it’s definitely not the case everywhere. I am so pissed at myself for ticking that box in the first place. Hate icloud for doing that. The answers I read so far are still not satisfactory and would require a great deal of work / cleaning up in order to get the files back where they were before. If anyone has a genius idea, I am all ears. Thanks for sharing your experiences and tips.

How do you delete photos from iCloud?

Here I’ll assume that, by iCloud you mean iCloud Photo Library and by iPhone you mean “anywhere” on it.When iCloud Photo Library is activated, deleting photos from iCloud will delete them from the Photos app on your iPhone too.You could deactivate iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone, but then you’ll lose all the synchronisation features AND your iPhone needs to have enough free storage space to accommodate the download of your entire library. If you also activated “Optimise iPhone Storage”, then it’s definitely a no-go solution for you. Therefore, to achieve what you’re after, your only option is to move the desired photos:either to another appor to another cloud storage providerThe first option is OK if you have enough free storage on your iPhone too and is achievable with an app like Documents 6 by Readdle. With Documents 6, you can:Create a local folder for your photosNavigate to your desired Photo Albums from iCloud Photo LibraryCopy the desired photos to the local folderDelete the photo from iCloud Photo LibraryIf you don’t have much free storage on your iPhone, then I’d recommend to use Google Photos instead (you need to have a Google account obviously). With Google Photos, you can:Upload the desired photos to GoogleLong press to select itTap on the three dots (…)Tap on “Back up”Remove them from iCloudLong press againTap on the three dots (…)Tap on “Delete device original”Tap on “Delete”For more information about Google Photos, please have a look at those answers:Damien Schreurs's answer to Is there a way to save photos shared with me via iCloud to Google Photos?Damien Schreurs's answer to Are pictures uploaded to Google Photos private or can they be accessed by others?Damien Schreurs's answer to Is Google Photos a safe place to upload photos and videos as a backup?Damien Schreurs's answer to Can I delete my iPhone photos once they are uploaded to Google Photos?Hope this helps, otherwise, just leave a comment.

How can I delete photos from my Mac but keep them in iCloud?

Thanks for the A2A.Unfortunately, iCloud Photo Library is an “All or Nothing” kind of synchronisation. At the time of writing, it’s not possible to selectively sync certain folders or albums between iCloud and an Apple device. So, if you truly want to delete some photos from your Mac while keeping them in iCloud, you’ll have to turn off iCloud Photo Library. Please note that doing so does NOT delete the photos stored in the Photos app on your Mac.You’ll have to do it manually and here’s how to do it:Open Photos preference paneClick on the iCloud tabTurn OFF iCloud Photo Library (this will break the sync with iCloud)Either manually delete the photos you don’t want anymore (this deletion will not sync with iCloud)Or delete the entire Photos libraryQuit PhotosManually trigger a Time Machine backup (and wait for it to complete)Open finderNavigate to the Pictures folderDelete the Photos Library (named something like “Photos Library.photoslibrary”)Empty the TrashIf your goal is to make space on your Mac while keeping it in sync with iCloud, then you have 2 options:Follow Shawn P. Stanley’s advice of activating “Optimise Mac Storage” (Photos menu > Preferences > iCloud > Optimise Mac Storage)This will resize the photos stored on your Mac while keeping the full resolution version in iCloudYou can favorite and sort photos into albums even if they’re not in full resolutionTo edit or share a photo on your Mac, the full resolution version needs to get downloaded first, so you’ll need an Internet connexionMove the Photos library to an external SSD plugged via USB 3.0 or ThunderboltThis will free up space on your internal hard driveThis requires the external hard drive to be plugged in to your Mac each time you want to open the Photos appIn practice, an APFS or HFS+ formatted SSD drive with a fast connexion is highly recommended (USB 3 or Thunderbolt)Hope this helps!
