How Do You Fold Open The Rear Seats Of An Escalade Ext

How do I identify whether a caliper is single piston or double piston?

That's very easy just the physical appearance of the caliper will be enough to determine the number of pistons it has.  In this picture you can see that the single piston caliper has only one circular thing on the caliper body while the double piston one has two circular thing on the caliper bodyHope this answers your question

Will I be able to fit a full size mattress and mattress box in the cargo area of Escalade?

If it's the Escalade truck you have, then it's made like the Chevy Avalanche, where you can pop out the back window, flip the rear seats down, and fold the back down to convert the cargo area into a full size truck.

If it's the Excalade SUV, then my suggestions is to strap them on the roof.

...and why are you asking this question in "Dodge"? GM SUCKS!!!

What is the best SUV with Third row seating for a family of 5?

If you don't want to drive a land yacht tank around (a la Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Escalade) I recommend the Toyota Highlander. They feature lots of different trim packages; and you have three engine choices: 4 cylinder, V6, and hybrid. You can go from a basic 4 cylinder with cloth interior up to a loaded, leather wrapped, sunroof sporting, tow package having XLE.They share the same chassis and 6 cylinder engine with the Lexus RX350 (which is 4 inches shorter and doesn't have the third row) and accordingly provide a smooth comfortable ride with good gas consumption and awesome reliability. There is no out of the ordinary has savings but these sip as apposed to guzzle gas like the land yachts. The Nissan Pathfinder is another solid choice and has a sexy luxury cousin called the Infiniti QX60. You will not be able to find another vehicle with the third row as nice as the QX60 without spending a crazy amount more in cash. They both use a CVT (Continually Variable Transmission) and get surprisingly good gas mileage as a result.Honda features the Pilot which is a solid three row player. It has a claim to gain fame in that most have all wheel drive. This is quite helpful if you live in an inclimate weather area, but be aware over 22 mph it's just front wheel drive. Honda also offers the same car in luxury clothing called the Acura MDX. Neither of these get very good gas mileage in my opinion (and I owned an MDX).Good luck, let us know what you get!

What suv has the best cargo space (b/w chevrolet, toyota, nissan, ford, dodge)?

Likely the Tesla Model X, due for release in the third quarter of 2015.I base this on the Tesla Model S, which has more luggage capacity than other cars its size. There's no reason to believe that won't be the case with their full-sized SUV as well. The Wikipedia entry is likely out of date, as the Model X is now projected to come with Tesla's dual-motor AWD, which reduces space in the frank. The Model X offers room for seven adults and their luggage in three rows of seating and two trunks, front and rear.[5]Tesla Model XOffered with 60 kWh, 85 kWh, and 85 kWh Performance options, every Model X comes standard with Dual Motor All Wheel Drive and brilliantly functional Falcon Wing Doors. What compact-SUV between 2013-2016 would you recommend that is reasonably comfortable to sleep in (overnight)?

None of them?I suggest going further back to when compact SUVs could still hold things. They last a wicked long time with good maintenance. If you are set on that model year range, try a Toyota 4runner because the truly compact SUVs are not made for sleeping. You would need a tent.I had a 2-door, 2 wheel drive Jeep Cherokee from the 1990s that had a 5 speed manual transmission with a 2.5L i4 engine. It got close to 40mph on the open highway, but decent mpg in the city as well. It was the one vehicle I've owned that got better than advertised fuel economy. With the back bench seat flipped down it was long enough to sleep in comfortably on an air mattress. There was even an option for a tent extension that attached over the open rear lifting door. This is the model although not my Jeep. This style was made overseas more recently than in the US.The XJ Cherokee introduced for the 1984 model year was the first Jeep with a ladder-boxed chassis integrated into a single monocoque unit rather than the traditional separate body-on-frame construction. The design was rigid and sturdy with approximately 3200 welds in a completed body, "yet wonderfully lightweight, [the] Uniframe permitted outstanding performance even with AMC's new 2.5-liter/150-cubic-inch four-cylinder engine."Both two- and four-door versions of the XJ Cherokee were offered throughout its lifetime, each having exactly the same track and wheelbase measurements. Two-door models, however, received longer doors and front seats that could fold forward to assist in rear passenger entry and exit. This was in addition to extended-length rear windows that did not open, although an optional rear vent window was available on some models.Jeep Cherokee (XJ) - Wikipedia
