How Do You Get Gas Off Your Babys Stomache

PLEASE HELP - My baby is screaming his head off and wont stop :'(?

Try swaddling him and/or putting him in a swing. Maybe even consider taking him for a ride in the car if it is not too cold.

Good luck

38 weeks pregnant, stomach ache, gas, Labor?

There are so many signs and they are so different for people. Your body could very well be cleansing itself to prepare for labor, or it could just be a sign that your intestines and stomach are cramped by your growing baby.

I don't blame you for being anxious and wanting her to arrive soon. Best of luck to you!

Does Similac Alimentum cause stomach/gas problems for babies when they start on solid foods?

My daughter is 5 months old and has been on Alimentum since 6 weeks old. She had blood in her stools and her stools were like water so they switched her from the regular Similac to Isomil Advance to Sensitive formula and none of them helped. She was still fussy with blood in her stools. When we switched her to Alimentum her problem stopped. Now that she's pretty much old enough to try solids I started her on bananas, apple sauce and green beans. Every time I feed her she screams all night and has bad gas... no matter what I feel her. Could this be because the Alimentum is more broken down and her body isn't used to breaking the food down and the solids are "overwhelming" her stomach or would it just be a gas problem? When she eats solids and starts screaming I give her gas drops and she passes the gas then goes to bed. I don't want her to be dependent on the drops and I can't afford it. Please help? P.S. she is on Prevacid for acid reflux.... problem?

38 weeks pregnant, stomach ache, gas, Labor? ?

Already lost my mucus plug. And still am losing the rest of it. Last time checked I was 3cm dilated 75% effaced. Pregnant with 1st baby. I've been having lose stool. Well was having.
All night last night I had a really bad stomach ache, and lots of gas. It's lasted off and on today too. im having the worst GAS pains, feels like I either need to pass gas or have a bowel movement but nothings coming when I go to the bathroom. I have been having contractions and mild menstrual cramps with pelvic pressure. Also I've been having some back pain. I'm almost in my 39th week. Has anyone had this as an early sign of labor for them? Or heard of it being a sign of labor? Just wondering- obviously I'm excited to meet my little boy! :o) Thanks to all who answer.

Why is my stomach vibrating on its own? What could be inside (not a baby)?

Dear Questioner,Your abdomen contains a large blood vessel called the abdominal aorta. This could be the reason for it “vibrating” as it will have a pulse like other arteries. However, this can be a sign of a problem with the abdominal aorta, where it can become weakened and balloon out. This is called an AAA or Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm and the pulsing can be more prominent and can be felt by a doctor examining your stomach. This is a serious condition and if it bursts can be life threatening. It usually occurs in older males but anyone can have them. I would go and see my doctor immediately for a checkup. It may be fine but better safe than sorry. Good luck.

Is it true that the fall of the umbilical cord is the beginning of stomach ache in children?

No sorry it’s not even close. Umbilical cords are strictly blood supply tissue which necros and fall.

Fluttering in stomach, is this normal?

I am 12 weeks pregnant today and I have been feeling these fluttering movements in my stomach on and off for about 2 weeks.

I know it is not the baby because it is too early to feel anything.

Could be gas (I know), but whenever I get gassy I do not get these feelings.. just gas cramps.

Is this normal? Or should I ask my doctor when I go in Saturday?

I am a first time mother so there are a lot of things I am not aware of yet when it comes to pregnancy, no matter how many books I read or sites I check.

(ps. no rude or sarcastic comments please)

What happens when babies get gas? Can gas be extremely painful and uncomfortable for a baby?

Most of the times, babies get gas problems when air enters their body every time they eat or cry. So next time when you see your baby getting fussy for no reasons, having a hard tummy, bloating, uncomfortable, in pain, burping a lot or even passing gas a lot; you know your baby has gas! There are various ways in which you can pacify your baby while she is going through this gastric phase:Make Your Baby Burp - This is the best way he can get relieved after eating. To make him burp, hold your baby to your shoulder with his chin resting on it. Make sure she is on your right side as this will make it easier for air bubbles to escape. Another way is to lay her down on her stomach. This way, there will be pressure developed on her stomach which will make it easier for her to pass on the gas.Asafoetida At Rescue - You can make a paste of Asafoetida, commonly known as Hing with warm water and apply it around your baby’s navel. This will help her pass on the gas in no time and will pacify her. Dill seeds, commonly known as Soyo in Hindi is a herb that improves digestion since it contains the carminative agent. It is difficult for them to digest anything other than breast milk which can lead to gas problems in them. Also, while feeding, keep your baby upright so that it creates an easy passage for breast milk to travel to your baby’s tummy without getting trapped anywhere.Massage For Babies - Regular massages can soothe your baby which is good for their rest naps. It develops flexibility in them and is very good for relieving them from digestion problems. You can always put your baby on her back and gently move her legs in a cycling motion. This will soothe all those uneasiness and discomfort that comes along with indigestion problems.Babies can really be gassy and there are certain home remedies for it which work most of the time. Still, if you feel the problem is not sorted, you can always consult a doctor.
