How Do You Get Into Disney

How much does it cost to get into Walt Disney World?

Tickets cost about $100 per person per day but buying 10 tickets wouldn't cost $1000 because Disney heavily discounts multi-day tickets.  For example if buy a 10-day ticket, the cost ends up at around $35/day so $350 total for the ten days.  They also have combined ticket and hotel packages.  If you have a family of four, stay in one of Disney's less expensive hotels for six days/five nights and go to the park five times during your stay, your cost is around $2,400 USD.  Add $1000 in airfare plus $600 for food and your Disney vacation in total would be about $4000.  That's the cheapest you can get away with.  Any cheaper and you would have to stay less days, drive, or live locally.  Now, all this being said, it's very worth it if you are bringing young children, and always bring your camera.  I wrote an article about this called Treasure Found in Disney World Videos.

How hard is it to get into Disney's college program?

It really depends on a lot of factors. First of all, getting into Walt Disney World is much easier than getting into Disneyland if you're applying for the first time. WDW hires around 7,000 CPs while Disneyland only hires about 300, but they both of course accept more people because not everyone that they make an offer to accepts the offer. So no matter how many people apply, they can only hire around those many people, but again they make offers to more people and then it's up to you to reserve your spot upon acceptance. Speaking a foreign language certainly helps your chances of getting an offer. Also, being from a state where there are fewer applicants has appeared to help since Disney wants diversity throughout the states instead of having all CPs be from California, Florida, and New York (which tend to be where a lot of applications come from). Also, your phone interview is very important. You must be able to demonstrate through your voice that you're passionate about Disney and about working in the parks and that you fit the general characteristics of a CP who will complete the program. They don't want to hire someone who is clearly not a good fit for the program and/or someone who will quit the program midway throughout.

How do I get into Pixar or Walt Disney?

I asked this very question almost 10 years back. And a PIXAR animator(Sanjay Patel) gave this answer. My questionHow you got a job at pixar? (I want to work at PIXAR too)Pixar Senior Animator Sanjay Patel’s AnswerI didn't apply to PIXAR they saw my student film and based on the animation and story they thought I would be a good fit. I wasn't interested in computer animation and decided to work on a hand drawn music video for Bjork. After that my friends were at Pixar and really recommended it. So I went for a visit and they really wnated to hire me.Anyway if I were you I would look for the next Pixar, by that I mean a young studio trying to prove itself. That is exactly what Pixar was when they recurited me. The fact is in 1995 nobody wnated to work at Pixar everyone wanted to work for dreamworks or Disney or Warner brother. So if I were you I would find a small animation studio that has alot of potential to be the next Pixar. And in my opinion the only way your gonna have any cklue of what studio to work for is iuf you have a GREAT eductaion. This is the most important thing. I wnt to Cal-Arts, its one of the best animation schools, there is a great school in France called Gobleins.

Are 13 year-olds still into Disney Channel?

I’m older than 13 and I still watch Disney Channel. One of the series that might catch the eyes of 13 years-olds is K.C. Undercover, as Zendaya plays there. I personally like it, too. Though I also watch Phineas and Ferb and other Disney movies they play. Also, my little sister who watches Disney Junior loves to ask me to watch it with her, and I turned out to like it, too. Some of the series I like to watch there is Vamperina and The Lion Guards.I don’t think any other kids my age would like it as much as I do, though.

Would I be able to sneak my third child into a Disney World moderate resort hotel room?

basically it wouldn't be too hard to sneak the child in the hotel room BUT everyone gets a "key to the world" card which acts as your room key, park ticketrs, and dining plan credits if you got one, and yes each person has to show it at each attraction in order to take advantage of the extra magic hours.
so basically your child would have a place to lay their head at night but would not be able to get into the hotel room by theirself, would not have park tickets so you would have to purchase that seperately, would not be on the dining plan if you added that to your package therefore you would have to pay out of pocket for the child to eat, and the child would not be able to take advantage of the extra magic hours therefore at least one other person in your gourp would have to miss out as well.
i do believe they have cots for rent.
why don't you just call them and let them know youn have a total of 5 people and they can explain your options to you.

Can you sneak marijuana into Disney World?

I’m sure you can attempt to take anything in the parks, whether you get caught is a function of how you attempt to bring it in and what you do with it when you are inside. Disney now has guests go through a metal detector *and* security guards feel the inside of your bags and go through the larger pockets. Something soft like pot in a baggie, I’m sure you can get inside the park - there are usually no drug sniffing dogs. That said, once you get inside a park, what are you going to do with it? I wouldn’t plan on smoking or vaping. There are very limited smoking areas (fewer by the day, as I just read that they closed two last week) and being that there are cameras and plain clothes security people EVERYWHERE I wouldn’t count on your ability to smoke anything unusual free from detection. You are not permitted to walk around and openly vape at Disney, either. All hotel rooms are likewise nonsmoking, and there is specifically no smoking on any of the balconies - you have to use a smoking area at the hotel, which I’m sure is also under security surveillance.Did I mention that Mousekeeping is now doing daily required checks of ALL hotel rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms on a daily basis? If you tried to do something funky in any of the rooms you definitely run the risk of detection.Disney is a corporation that owns the land and serves as the government for its property, known as Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID.) It has its own police force and fire department…. so if it knew of a drug issue or illegal drug use, you would run the risk of criminal sanctions and being banned from the property.

If you bring in a bottle of booze at Walt Disney World, what do the employees at the front gate do?

This assumes you’re 21 or older.WDW doesn’t really care if you’re drinking in the park. Disneyland has a club with a bar - there’s no moral objection to alcohol or anything like that. What they don’t want is guests seeing other guests swigging a bottle of booze (not family friendly), or drunk guests in the park (safety hazard). If the employees found a bottle of whiskey in your bag they’d simply tell you that you can’t bring it into the park. They can’t confiscate it. They won’t lecture you. You’ll get a discreet “I’m sorry Sir, we don’t allow outside alcohol into the park.” They might suggest, as the other answer says, that you could leave it in a locker outside the gate, or to take it back to your car or hotel room. If, on the other hand, you have a bottle of coke with whiskey already mixed in, they’re not going to open it and smell it. As long as you’re discreet, and don’t get drunk, security isn’t going to bother you. I’m sure they have a protocol for discreetly handling drunk guests. Disney park security is all about being effective and discreet. They don’t want guests seeing security operations.

How often do people sneak into Disney World after hours?

"Sneak in": 0Some technicalities:"Disney World" consists of a 27,000 acre plot of land (for refrence, San Fransisco is 29,000 acres) This includes Resort Hotels, Water Parks, Theme Parks, the Disney Springs shopping district, roads, etc. So, technically just by staying in a hotel, you would be "In Disney World" along with several hundreds of thousands of other guests. If you mean "how many people sneak into the Disney Theme Parks" again, 0. People dumb enough to have the desire to do so lack the skills required to attempt such a trespass,  and those smart enough to figure out how to get inside would have no motivation to do so. (Unless of course they want to be powerwashed by heavy, oxidizing chemicals, under the bright, harsh lights of a construction pop-up, while breathing in the fumes of heavy painting, and avoiding heavy construction traffic; all of this while avoiding, security, cameras, activated train lines, Florida swamps filled with gators and other delightful critters, fences, walls, etc. Etc. Etc.Not to mention all of the fairies, and their nightly pixie dusting; you do not want to piss off Tinker Belle.
