How Do You Get Rid Of Nausea

How to get rid of nausea from hangover?

The reason you are nauseous is because you are severely dehydrated; the result of drinking too much alcohol. You need to start sipping cold water, and keep this up until the nausea subsides. Next you need to boost your blood sugar, so sipping a fruit juice will help to do this (preferably pineapple juice if you have it, because it is more quickly absorbed into your blood stream). Once you are feeling more like a human being, you need some carbs, so a piece of dried toast or some dried crackers will be the answer. After that you should feel a whole lot better. Next time, go easy on the alcohol. Drinking too much alcohol is the equivalent of poisoning yourself.

How to get rid of nausea?

First of all tums is not for nausea, it's an acid reducer...there are natural cures for nausea which include: cutting a lemon and smelling it, ginger is suppose to be good, and crackers or bread is good, what I find works best is laying down flat with lots of cool air on you and breathing it in slowly and relaxing yourself. On the medical side they have many medications that work, there's a new medicine out that's in a strip you put on your tongue and it dissolves, also dramamine helps (I suggest the non-drowsy formula).

How can I get rid of nausea?

I feel nauseous almost every time I eat. At first I thought it was dating anxiety because I feel like vomiting every time I ever go on a date. My nausea has been on and off for the past 4 months and last about a week every time. I feel sick every time I eat. It’s like a texture thing that makes me sick. If it’s slimy or mushy, I gag it up right away. And it’s not just on dates now. It’s with my family and even my best friends. I’m starting to believe this is more than anxiety. Just this past week, I’ve woken up every morning with loose stool feeling extremely nauseous (I’m not pregnant).I’ve never dealt with anxiety ever in my life so it would be really strange to have this be an anxiety problem. The only thing that has been bothering me is that my face has been very twitchy lately, but I don’t think about it that much. Does anybody relate to this or have advice for me?

How do I get rid of nausea caused from crying?

When you cry you are tightening up your neck muscles at the same time. When your neck muscles are tight they are pressing into your throat and when they press onto the area of your gag reflex in your throat you feel the nausea feeling happening so it would be like sticking your finger down your throat. to get rid of that problem you have to free up your neck muscles to release the tight ones pressing into your throat and here's how to free them up:
Neck:
Place your hands behind your head so your fingers meet in the middle of your neck. Press into the neck with a moderate pressure and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your head as far as you can, then remove the pressure from the muscles but continue holding your head down for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

How do you get rid of nausea caused by eating too much?

Wow. Perfect timing for this question. I wonder if you’re in the same boat as me…late evening after a Thanksgiving food orgy?Well, there’s the age-old Roman remedy, but that smacks too much of an eating disorder, besides being gross. I find that any carbonated drink can help settle your stomach after eating too much…a soda or carbonated mineral water. Then there’s ginger or peppermint tea, also good at soothing upset tummies. If those don’t work, try some Alka-Seltzer effervescent tablets for heartburn relief. The medicine dissolves fast and goes to work quickly because it’s already in solution. I wouldn’t give it to a child, however, because it does contain a bit of aspirin. And finally, the one I rely upon for occasional use, is Ranitidine, a histamine-2 blocker which works by reducing the amount of acid your stomach produces. It’s used for heartburn relief, GERD and treating ulcers. You can purchase it over the counter as Zantac or as generic ranitidine. It works for me, and I’m experienced…Thanksgiving (and New Year’s) comes once a year!

How do I get rid of nausea caused by Ritalin?

My doctor recently raised my dose of Ritalin from 15mg/day to a total of 40mg/day (spread out). While it's done wonders for my ADHD, it's making me nauseated, and I have little appetite. I know I need food, so I eat anyway, but it makes me nausea worse. Any ideas? I know weed is amazing for nausea/appetite, but I want to stay within the legal realm here.
