If somebody hacked my facebook and hotmail, can the police help me?
So if somebody hacked my facebook account and my email adress, and posted some rude things like swearing and hinting that I was a homosexual, rude statuses. Would the police bother tracking them down for me, or am I screwed like the other people who are victims of hacking? I read around that facebook really wouldn't be bothered to sort it out is this true? Should I just make a new account and tell my friends to delete the hacked one

Just go to the privacy shortcuts and change the messaging to 'Strict filtering'. Yes, you can. Simple go to https://www.facebook.com/setting... and enter their name. Make sure it is the right person you are blocking, perhaps you remember their photo. I just did it, someone blocked me and I went to the above address added their name, found them, and blocked them back. This is fair and insures that only one party cannot control the blocking.

Right so there is this guy who I kind of knew ages ago. We were never really friends but we happened to become friends on Facebook. Anyway he started messaging me a few weeks ago and I felt bad not replying for a while so I decided to reply. We had a brief converstationg then I stopped writing back. Anyway over the past couple of weeks he messages me all the time even when I'm not online. He sends me so many messages and hen if I don't reply he'll be like hello? Did you get my last message? What's up??? Write back!!!! Then I feel like its really rude not too! I don't want to block him but he doesn't seem to be taking the hint that I'm not really up for chatting?? What can I do?
