If you choose a hair style that should suit your face shape and body structure. Its very easy to find whether the hair style suits you or not, style your hair and look into a full length mirror if you look great in that hair style then continue with that. I will give you some suggestions which I tried out for styling my hair, it might work for you as well,First try to find out your nature of hair.If you can't find, just consult a hair stylist and find the nature of your hair.They may even suggest with the best hair style that suits you.If your able to identify your hair nature, then try to surf some videos in youtube. How do you know what hairstyle looks best on you?
I have average, medium straight hair, but I always wonder what I looked like with short hair. But I'm too afraid to try it out because one time when I asked a lady to cut my hair into layers right below my shoulders, she misunderstood and cut it right at my shoulders! I thought I looked pretty ugly like that, but I wanna know if I can find another hairstyle besides my boring one that I can look nice in without actually cutting it. Help?

my mom has decided she wants a haircut. we have been looking at pictures for a while and cant seem to find something she wants. she is an older lady (over 60) she wants something short, but still covers the ears (has hearing aids she does not want to be visable) but does not want long bangs or hair that will fall in her eyes/face while she is at work. if you know of any styles that might work for her PLEASE let me know! pictures would be greatly appreciated as well thank you.

Not every Asian has the same type of hair. I'm Chinese and my hair is coarse and wavy .. haha. Print out a picture so your stylist can have a guideline :)
