I was 19 and I hated when kids were around, but then a miracle happened. An angel was born, she is my niece. I remember holding her for the first time when she was 6 months old, it felt like something truly delicate in my arms, those little fingers trying to hold my thumb. I felt like crying, don't know why, but I felt that. I was with her almost all the time, she used to be with me more than her parents. Those were holidays, and I had to go back to hostel. I lived far from my parents since years now, but this time, I felt miserable, I did not want to leave her, but I had to.I returned home after 9 months and by that time, she completely forgot me. She was A year and 3 months old by now and at that age, children cry when some stranger tries to hold them. I felt bad coz I was the one she loved the most and now I was a complete stranger. Whenever I caught hold of her, she cried. I didn't understand why, but I used to act quickly to search for his mother and give her to her mother so that she feels normal and stops crying. Yes, I did not want her to cry, I wanted her to be happy, whether she was with me or not. I felt happy when she was smiling whether she was in someone else's arms. I kept my patience and at times I used to be around her, she took her time to get normal with me and in just 10 days she felt safe with me again. We were in love again. And since that time, no one could take us apart. She is five years old now and we understand each other, we love our company.I hope you understand what I mean to say, Love is the feeling of happiness that you get when you see your dear ones "Happy". It's the understanding that you create with them.
