How do I make paper flowers?

Thanks for the a2a. Other answers tell you what to do to make a paper flower; there are many published methods and origami models to produce many type of flowers. My origami collection includes lily, rose, daffodil, chinese bellflower, orchid, cactus and many others folded from a single piece of paper without cuts. If I wish to make a flower I would look for the published instructions, and make it.I have doodled several flowers, as symmetrical folding makes symmetric petals. I also break symmetry to make the model better express my idea.I also do life-folding, where I observe an actual flower and capture its essence in my model. First one observrss the flower, including petal length, width, and number. Then fold a base that has appropriate symmetry, choosing appropriate proportions to have sufficient paper to fold details. This may require multiple “sketches”; I may use a piecce of paper to determine a good way to capture a piece of the flower, like pistil and stamens, and then “graft” the features into the primary model using the part of the sheet Ireserved for the feature. With practice, one learns many forms and techniques, such as how to extrude points of desired lengths extend from any part of the model. “Box folding” is a simple means to plan any model. More elegant folds may borrrow folfding sequences learned as parts of many disparate models.Keep in mind that common origami paper has two differently colored sides, and consider how color-change can be used to reflect contrasting parts of the flower. As a matter if style, one can make very simplified flowers or have complex folding sequences to realistically model more details.Use compound folding, like traditional lotus, if you want a quick way to model different fearures ro assemble into a single flower. This also allows for more color variation without needing to paint the paper. If you have patterned paper, you can use this to enhance the surface, such as folding a lily. You may wish to add a green pipe cleaner or florist wire for the stem, and fold separate leaves, gluing them on.Some models use scissors, either to shape the initial square (e.g. into a pentagon) or to modify the oriami model (e.g. morning glory to carnation in the World of Origami by Isao Honda, 1965).I have yet to use origami designn software, like Robert Lang's TreeMaker, but it is a useful tool for comicoming up with a starting base with specified points and proportions.

How do you eat rice paper? Why is it safe to eat?

“How do you eat rice paper?”. Er… you put it in your mouth, chew and swallow.“Why do you eat rice paper?”. That is a better question and probably what you meant, I guess. Well, imagine making some small bit-sized cakes and them having a sticky bottom. That stickiness might make them absolutely delicious but it will also mean that they are a *&*!* to get off the greaseproof paper you lined the baking tray with. You may find yourself getting as much off as you can and still inadvertently eating a little bit of the paper you’re not supposed to eat. Same thing happens next day when you’re cooking Spring Rolls. At this point you would probably think “wouldn’t it be great if someone invented a paper you can line a baking tray with which is edible?”.That’s where rice paper comes in. You don’t need to eat it. If it can be removed easily then you just treat it like any other lining paper. If it’s difficult to remove then just leave it and the diner can eat it. It tastes of pretty much nothing so shouldn’t interfere with your enjoyment of the delicacy you’re trying to consume.“Why is it safe to eat?”. Because it’s ingredients are all edible (usually rice flour, salt and water).

How do I make a lotus origami?

If you are experienced at making origami objects you can experiment with what you already know. If you are unfamiliar, find a pattern in a book or on the internet. There are a great variety of patterns available but having the right kind of paper is important.

Is there a way to erase printer ink from paper?

There are proven methods to remove printer ink from paper, however, these are not 100% efficient and does not leave your paper 100% as it was before the printing. There is always the option of using a whiteout. Besides whiteout, the following are few methods to remove printer ink.Removing ink from Inkjet Printers :Most inkjet printers utilize an aqueous form of ink. Printing is done by spraying ink on the paper. Due to this, the ink remains fresh on the paper immediately after the printing. Dab a cotton ball on the paper to remove the majority of the ink. Take care as to not use too much force as you risk ripping the paper.Certain printers that are equipped with an internal heating mechanism to hasten the ink drying process. In this case, use fine sandpaper on the surface to scrape off the ink. This can also be done on printers using UV-cured ink as printing happens only on the surface of the paper.Removing ink from a Laserjet-Printed paper :Apply acetone to a cotton ball or tissue paper and dab it on the ink. Although ink is not completely removed, the paper can be printed over and is very much visible. A Common form of acetone is nail polish remover. Take care to not expose acetone to heat sources as it is inflammable.Soak the paper in acetone and treat it in an ultrasonic cleaning machine. This machine uses UV to break down the ink. The ink gets completely removed with little damage to the paper.Unprinters can be used to remove ink. They emit shot pulses of laser burning off the ink.

Scupey clay is easy to use and can be painted.

Avoid direct contact with wooden or fine furniture. Knead clay until soft and smooth. Shape into the desired form and detail as required. Larger pieces may need bulking out inside with crushed aluminum foil. Thin areas may need armature wire for support. Work from light colors to dark colors. Why do people sit in lotus position when they meditate?

Traditionally, in the lands where these spiritual technologies developed, one began these practices as a child. This lotus position allows one to maintain balance with the least amount of effort. Sitting up keeps one awake. These are the traditional reasons. In the west, we can be in any position, but lying down while meditating promotes sleep, and a loss of focus. One can sit in a chair with no arms, sleep and fall to the floor. One can sit in a chair with arms, fall to the side, and be awakened by the pressure of the chair on their ribs.Analyze other sitting positions and situations, and you'll begin to appreciate the concept of the lotus seating position.More importantly, seated this way, with back straight, head aligned, places all the primary Chakra energy centers in alignment. This reduces resistance to transfers of energy between them, making spiritual perception and operation easier. For the science minded, the previous paragraph seems like pseudoscience, but it is not. See scientific papers about Tibetan monks that sit wrapped in wet cloths in mountaintops, warming themselves through meditation alone.
