How do you make your fingers thin?

My fingers are so fat, what should I do to make them thin?

I can't really give you a decent answer without knowing a little more about you.Question: Are you currently overweight? If not and the rest of your body is trim, I would assume that you're fingers aren't actually fat, just thicker / more muscular. I had some friends who had thick fingers but it wasn't because they were fat (they were quite fit). They were just thicker, but you could tell they weren't fat just thicker. There's nothing wrong with that. If your case is similar, than you're probably just being too critical of yourself. I think everyone has done this or does this from time to time. I suggestTake a step back and breathe. Ask yourself: What is going through my head right now?Are my thoughts constructive or helpful to me any way?If what I'm thinking is true, how can I address it in a more constructive way?For exampleIf you know that you're a bit overweight:Realize that freaking out about it is only doing to get you closer to despair, which gets you nowhere. Ask yourself what you want to do about.Think about ways you can address the issue you have. To get more out of this, grab a writing utensil (crayon works), paper, and jot down some ideas. Then, making sure to not overload yourself with new habits too quickly, ask: What small step can I take toward this goal today? I highly recommend that you ask yourself this question each and every day. Before you know it, you will be naturally making steady progress, and will be finding that you can make and execute bigger steps without much trouble. When I was fat and decided that I wanted to lose weight I:Took a step back.Realized that crying and eating more out of despair wasn't going to get me anywhere.Chose running and eating better as my preferred methods of weight loss.Ran half a mile my first day.Cried the whole way back.Went a litter further each day. Didn't eat fourths, or thirds, or seconds at meals. After 2.5 months I was running 3 miles in 30 minutes and lost 45 pounds.Examine your self, set a goal, take incremental action.Hope this helps! :)p.s. Your fingers are normal :)

How can I get skinny fingers?

I have had the same problem to and there are a few things that i did to resolve this:

1) I learned how to play the piano, even if you dont know how to just try it fot the fun of it. Its a fun way easy way to get rid of some of that fat on your fingers. If you can get ahold of a piano or anything similar just tr to type more often it will get your fingers moving.

2) Writing -- it actually works to get rid of the fat, but i dont mean like wrighting a little side not ot something. morelike writing so much till your hands actually hurt. it works better than typing because your actually holding the pencil and using the rest of your hand, so it is not limited to just your fingers.

3) Try losing weight -- I had a ring on my ring finger once and then i noticed that it was really tight which indicated that my fingers were getting fatter. so i put the ring on my pinky finger and decided to lose some weight, i dont mean go on a crazy diet, like simply limiting your meals to no more than 3 and making sure that i didnt take more than 2000 calories a day.

4) You can also try to stretch your fingers, but this might be painfull and it will take to long for you to get the effect that you want.

5) I read this once in a magazine - a really simple trick to making your fingers look slimmer and longer, if the above points did not help, to to apply nailpolish that is of a skin type colour, in the magazine it said to use colours like gold which is what i use, it makes you fingers look elegant and longer, other colours include soft pink and other warmer colours, stay away from colder shades like blue purple and black. they will make your fingers look short and fat.

hope this helped :)

Is there a way to make your fingers thinner?

is there any excercize or something you can do to make your fingers thinner? like you can do certain excercizes that specifically target your arms/legs to make your arms/legs thinner...but what if you want to make your fingers thinner?

How do I make my fingers longer and thinner?

There's nothing you can do to actually increase the length of your fingers other than a painful surgery! But what you can do is give the impression of having longer fingers and slimmer hands! This will require paying a bit of extra attention to your hands, but the results will be worth the effort!

Firstly, you should grow your nails. Not too long that they get in the way, but just a little over the edge of the finger. Wearing nude or neutral nail paint shades elongates your fingers and wearing darker colors look edgy but do nothing for the lengthening effects. You could also use nail stick ons or enamels if you're unable to or don't want to grow your nails naturally.

Secondly, file your nails to a pointy round shape, and not to a square shape. Loosing a little weight all over helps, because then you loose some on the hands too and slimmer hands look longer, even if they aren't in reality, to chubbier hands.

Finally, although I have long fingers myself, they're kind of bony so I usually admire people with chubby or filled out hands because they look so wholesome! But I guess the grass is always greener on the other side, and I hope with these tips you can like your hands a little more!

How to make your fingers skinnier?

Things You'll Need:
Eagle catcher

Step 1
Spread your fingers apart really wide, as if you are trying to palm a basketball. Now tap each finger to your thumb one at a time. Starting with your little finger or index finger, go all the way down and all the way back. Every time you tap a finger, come back to a full extension.

Step 2
Use an eagle catcher. An eagle catcher is a tool used by martial artists to strengthen their grip, which is beneficial when they are performing chokes and throwing opponents to the ground. This tool works the fingers and can strengthen and help tone them (see References).

Step 3
Become proficient at typing. Typing is a good exercise for developing coordination and strength in your fingers. Practice typing on a conventional typewriter or a computer.

Step 4
Open and close your palm. This exercise can be done anywhere, at any time of day. Clench your fist as tight as you can. Then open your hand and spread your fingers apart as wide as you can. Alternate back and forth.

Step 5
Perform some push-ups. Come into a plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your arms straight. Spread your fingers wide apart and come up onto your fingertips. Lower yourself down by bending your elbows, then push yourself back up.

Can crocheting make your fingers thin?

Genetics and weight loss are the key to slim fingers, heavy on genetics. I have my dad's short stubby fingers. No amount of crochet has changed that. :<(

How can I make my fingers longer?

You can't but if you keep on practicing and doing some stretching exercises they might grow a little bit. Using the right technique can help you with your handicap so try finding a guitarist friend who will help you with that and keep on practicing. if you don't have such friends, look at youtube videos. There are many guitarists with different handicaps.Jean "Django" Reinhardt[1][2] (French: [dʒãŋɡo ʁɛjnaʁt] or [dʒɑ̃ɡo ʁenɑʁt]; 23 January 1910 – 16 May 1953) was a Belgium-born French guitarist and composer of Romani ethnicity.Reinhardt is regarded as one of the greatest guitar players of all time; he was the first important European jazz musician who made major contributions to the development of the guitar genre. After his fourth and fifth fingers were paralyzed when he suffered burns in a fire, Reinhardt used only the index and middle finger of his left hand on his solos. He created an entirely new style of jazz guitar technique (sometimes called 'hot' jazz guitar), which has since become a living musical tradition within French Gypsy culture. With violinist Stéphane Grappelli, Reinhardt co-founded the Quintette du Hot Club de France, described by critic Thom Jurek as "one of the most original bands in the history of recorded jazz".[5] Reinhardt's most popular compositions have become jazz standards, including "Minor Swing", "Daphne", "Belleville", "Djangology", "Swing '42", and "Nuages".TLDR - he never gave up and became a LEGEND!If you find it just too difficult, play ukulele. Ukulele is still a nice and expressive instrument, especially if you can sing. And look at Rob go! :But my recommendation is that you keep on playing guitar. One day, you will have enough money to buy a short scale guitar, and then, after a little getting-used-to, you will find that you can play it even better. And lastly, your finger size doesn't determine how good a guitarist you will become - YOUR DEDICATION DOES!

How can i make my fingers thinner?and Would a typing program make my fingers thinner or thicker?

Hi.

The first thing I wish to correct....is the first answerer is incorrect, and so is any information you've received over the years referring to cracking ones knuckles/joints.
When someone/anyone cracks their knuckles/joints? And,even if that person cracks their knuckles/joints for a very long time? They do not....not!
Do any damage,or make their knuckles larger/bulgy/fatter/thicker fingers/knuckles/joints over time. So,what ever you've heard/learned over the years about cracking ones knuckles/joints? Is incorrect/false.
So,I can only hope you understand this 1 day. So,may teenagers tend to believe much of what they heard from adults, and their peers.

Now,as for your fingers being chubby/pudgy?
This has so much to do with your age dear....a,d again...nothing to do with knuckle cracking.
Typing? Isn't going to build muscle in your fingers,or help you to lose some of the pudge in your fingers.
To be honest with you? The only way to lose any weight in your fingers would be to lose weight in general...total body weight.I seriously doubt this is necessary in your case, seeing how your a 14 year old kid,and not near old enough to start losing weight.

I strongly advise you to hang in there...until your hormones start to take over, and balance out some of your body weight. It will happen, but be patient.Ok?
I had pudgy fingers when I was a kid..12-13-14-and even up to15 years old,but once my hormones finally did the job? My fingers were so long/thin and really nice.Same will happen to you...even if your a few pounds heavier than you should be.Makes no difference...just hang in there!
And,stop believing all the hype. I read the other answer again? It is incorrect/false in every way!! Playing a piano will not make your fingers grow longer/thinner.
But,if you want to strengthen your hands/fingers? Ask your parents to invest in a hand strengthing ball, which is specially made just for this purpose. And,can be purchased at any sporting goods store.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
